|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one entombed there or no of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Thank you so much for getting these photos - and such clear and beautiful ones they are. This is what it is all about - being able to "visit" an ancestor or loved one in spirit - and to be able to reflect on their life. Bless you!
Sincerely, Deb H.

Thank you stratcm. This is an important part of my tree. Because of your effort, I believe that I will be able to answer some questions about the 'Weidinger's'. Again, thanks for your hard work and effort. Steve

I am so glad you found them. I would have been glad to meet you out there but I was in New York City watching my son march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I transfered Bell Ellars to you. Have fun tracing your ancestors.

Go to Ficklin Road- west side of Lyondel, North to the T road about 1 mile, turn right to the next T approx. 300 ft., then north about 1/4 mile. Upper Lester Cemetery is located in a pasture belonging to Mark Wesch. It might be helpful to ask Mark or his son, Matt about entering the cemetery, even though, you do not need permission to enter. The map on Find a Grave is correct. Find the gate that has Upper Lester Cemetery sign and that is where you enter. I always make sure that the gates are closed so no cattle escape. Go straight west and there will be another gate to go through. Follow the path to the north and there will be another gate around the cemetery. The Rice stones are towards the back(West) side of the cemetery on the left(south). You should have the pictures from find a grave that could help.
Hilligoss Sharder Funeral Home has the old Waddington Funeral Home records. They are on main street in Tuscola.
