Hi! I meant that it is fine that Jacob is the father. The only documentation I have about the Brower family is copies of actual Randolph County, NC records. For the Nicholas Brower family, I have copies of wills and letters. Nicholas and his son, Alfred, are also mentioned in history of Randolph County books.
I think that Jacob and Nicholas were related (cousins, maybe). The 1815 Randolph County, NC Tax List has Jacob Brower living on 218 acres on Sandy Creek, which is in the Northeast section of Randolph County near present day Liberty, NC. Nicholas and his family also lived there. Both Jacob and Nicholas are listed as attendees of the estate sale of Col. John Brower in 1814.
Then, in the 1820 tax list, both Jacob and Nicholas and families are listed in the Southern section near the present town of Seagrove, NC. I know that Nicholas moved to that area to build a mill. The township for that area was named "Brower Township" after Nicholas's son, Alfred, who was a state legislator and ran a post office and the mill after the death of his father.
Jacob Brower is listed as having 345 acres on Fork Creek which is where Nicholas build his mill.
Hope that helps.

Hi! That is fine if you have different information on his parents. I got my information from www.familysearch.org if you would like to see what that was.
Thanks and have a great day!

I love to read old newspapers at the Library of Congress website. I happened upon the wedding announcement of Belton Rambo and Rhea Edmunds in the Edgefield Advertiser (Edgefield, S.C.) OF 11/8/1916. It sounds like quite the affair.
I thought you might like to see it.

Majorie Wilkes Copp and William J. Copp
There are only three markers in Section X, Lot 300.
There is room in the lot for nine burials judging by the placement of the markers.
If the Copps are buried there, it is unmarked.
