|Carol Wilmoth Federspill||RE: William Watters|
You're welcome, William. Have been doing a rather intensive review of Mount Jackson Cemetery based on the cemetery's burial spreadsheet to see where I could add/correct info through a records search. Any time I see something that someone else might be interested in, I send it their way!
|Stacy Griffith||RE: Maxey Anderson|
Do you remember where you went?
Anderson cemetery is on private property that I might be able to get access to if I ask. Anderson Cemetery south I can't find at all. The map puts them within a mile or two of each other.
|Georgene Jurgensen||Clairborne L. Maxey death date|
I have requested the death date to change from Nov 25 to Nov 26, 1861. Based on the following:
The Weekly Vincennes Western Sun (newspaper) Saturday morning Nove 30, 1861 Vol. 6 number 18 reads: DIED in this city on the 26th inst. of pneumonia, Mr. Clairborne L. Maxey.
The Weekly Vincennes Western Sun (newspaper)
dated June 7 , 1862, page 4 lists the Register of Interments in the public burial ground of the city of Vincennes from the 15th day of May 1861 to the 16 day of May 1862, to-wit-Nov 26 Clairborne Maxey 45 years, winter fever. Recorded by James Watson, Superintendent of Burial Ground, City of Vincennes

I am researching the Phillips County, Arkansas race war of 1919 and hope that you can help me get information about the Charles Robert Maxey, an agent of the US Department of Justice stationed in Little Rock, who was one of the investigators of the incident.

|Marilyn Hayes||William Lewis Maxey s/o John Maxey and Pearl Crow|
Hello, I would very much like to chat with you regarding the Maxey line. I have found information that Pearl Crow
and John Maxey had the following children: William Lewis Maxey, b. 9 Nov 1905 in Matoon, Illinois and Catherine E., b. 1907. There is also a daughter Hazel Maxey that I am looking at that may be their daughter. Can you contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you so much.
Marilyn Crow Hayes
|yvonne stewart||thank you|
thank you for posting the Maxey information, especially the map. Yvonne
|Donna Cullins Schroeder||O Waters|
I assume that you posted the intro to this cemetery. The name "O Waters" is somewhat misleading. Our local records list it as Old Waters. In various obits and other places, it is also listed as McIlwain or Ireland Universalist. It might help if you could clarify this for researchers. Thanks!
|Velda Jo Bradley||Joseph & Henry Wm. Maxey|
My great great grandmother, Mary Adeline Maxey Cooper is the oldest sister to Joseph and Henry William Maxey. Do you have info on her? I would like to contact you by email or phone.

|Ron Stewart||Rev Robert Melville Maxey - Riverview Cemetery, Richmond|
FYI - I posted a picture of his tombstone today. I also shot all the other Maxey tombstones in that family plot and posted them to Find A Grave.
