This is area of Ohio County near Grayson County. Take 62 east, at the foot of the hill past Horse Branch School turn left on Olaton Rd. Go about 5 miles to Dan station .a rd.turns right. Take it about 1.5 mi. Where the old iron bridge used to be now it's a large pipe. The road to the cemetery is on the left, cemetery is near a White House.

The memorial for Peter is a mess. After receiving the memorial and realizing I couldn't find anything on him, I left the memorial as is intending to do further research and then got sidetracked, forgetting about him in the process. I still haven't found anything but did change the date of birth. Is he a member of your family? He isn't in mine and I'm happy to transfer him because I believe memorials should be with family member when possible.

You are very welcome.
I visited this cemetery in search of another. When I looked up the names on find a grave I found one in a cummins cemetery so that's where I put the others. I just found another spelled correctly. I will have to do some research to figure out what to do to fix it. They are both the same cemetery. The cemetery is on hwy 736, if coming from hwy 54 it's on the left side of the road. It is right beside the road. The sign is easy to see. if I remember right it's only a few miles from 54. I have been up there 4 times looking for a Patterson cem. And the spurrier cem. I hope you have better luck than me!
I'll get back to you soon on directions.

You are very welcome Charles. We are not kin, your Aunt and Uncle were friends. I have many good memories of times spent, in Bro. and Sis. Hoover's home and church. My parents knew them before I was even born, and attended their church. My sister's traveled with them and sang in their revival and church services. I remember the wonderful homemade ice-cream Bro. Hoover would make for Vacation Bible School, and what a good cook Sis. Hoover was. As for the pictures, they were shared on Facebook. I am friends with their daughter there, but I believe the picture of Sis. Hoover, may have been posted on her obituary, I really cannot remember for sure. I love and do a lot of work on Find A Grave, and when I thought of them, I intended to create a memorial, but I was happy to see they already had one. I just had to share the pictures. They were wonderful people.

Thanks for going to all that effort to get and post these photos. I'm learning so much about my cousins in that part of the country.

Thanks for the information. I have added it to the memorial. Do you have the Find A Grave numbers or know where here parents are buried? I would be happy to link them up as well.

No problem. We feel the more information that is placed on Find A Grave for future generations the better. DJ & Judi
