I am happy to review SAC (edits) but if you send them I am not notified by findagrave, so please leave me a message that I have an edit and findagrave will send me an e-mail. |
I am happy to share and meet new relatives. I work better behind the scenes. I have found that in trying to help others in one way or another I often help myself later.
My research was done 30 years ago with family bible records, census records, birth & death records, microfiche and surname genealogies. It was coordinated with other genealogists who were my 2nd & 3rd cousins that I knew personally. It was before the internet and e-mail. We corresponded through phone calls sometimes, but mostly letters. I LOVE the new technology.
In the mid 1990s I went to the LDS Salt Lake Library to make corrections (on my ancestors) to the Ancestral File which became FamilySearch. One had to reference the proof for the correction.
Most of the surname genealogies that I have ever seen do not list the burial place.
On My Barrett/Ferguson/Skaggs/Hoffman Line I have many unidentified photos that I would like to compare with other relatives family photos.
On the Jones/Frost/Lindsley/Brett side of my family there a few unidentified photos that I would like to compare with other relatives family photos.

I have tried to transfer Elizabeth to you but couldnt find the transfer button on screen. Dont know if findagrave has changed it or it is because of my oldtimey slow computer equipment. I may be kin on the Ownbey side but not postive at this point. If you would like to send me the bio for Elizabeth, I will try to add it for you since the transfer seems to be a problem at this time. Sorry for the delay, computer just wont cooperate.
|Nancy Porter||RE: Paulks & Slafters|
Hi Billie, I'm not related to the Paulks or Slafters & was doing research for a woman who is. Your references filled in at least four generations I didn't have. I was pecking away through the NEHGS online vital records databases. You helped a bunch! Thanks again! Nancy
I want to thank you for the wonderful sourcing you included in your research of the Paulk & Slafter memorials. These were the best instances of them I've ever seen and gives me confidence that you know what you're doing. Plus, I can validate the information on my own.

|Ed Poulin||RE: Thomas Miller 75848334|
I would connect wife Sarah to the newer Thomas. I will fix the daughter Deborah connection to attach to the new Thomas. Then I would delete my/your Thomas. I know it has more detail but, technically, there is no cemetery associated with it and that is frowned upon. If you can't delete the original Thomas and Sarah memorials then maybe you could transfer them back to me and I can do it since I originated them.
|Ed Poulin||RE: Sarah Marshfield Miller Foster|
I agree that you should delete my earlier memorial. I already changed the daughter's link like you suggested.
