I have been into family history since 1973. I transcribed all cemeteries in town Schleswig, Manitowoc County, WI in 1974.|
Calumet County cemeteries are all on FAG.
I am working on obits from the Chilton Times. I have older ones on FAG. I have on my computer obits from 1971 to 1983. Don't know if I will ever get them all typed but if you need one I should have it. Changes just about every week as I keep getting more.
If you have corrections or additions to anything I have on please let me know.
Thanks to anyone adding people pictures. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone had a picture.
It is nice to have photos of the cemetery stones, but please don't put in any more than two. I come along with people pictures and can not put them in because the limit has been reached.
I do not take credit for many of the pictures I post here, they are given to me by fellow researchers who want them shared with family members.
If I have any pictures of your family members, you are welcome to use them.
Hint: click on the picture you want, and that will bring up a larger file, and then save it.
I've added a new virtual cemetery -- Cemetery X. In my research I am finding obits for people who have some connections in Calumet County, but I don't know where they are buried.
If you have cemetery stones that need cleaning or repair work on old cemetery stones, Shane Peik, has a Chilton, Wisconsin based service.

I thought I only sent an Edit for the parental links (there should be no change to spousal information). Sorry for any confusion and thanks for the updates!

Hi, You were right to decline my previous edit about her parents. I just was not paying attention, sorry. She is my 1st cousin 2x removed and I was trying to get her father's siblings all together. Your information is incorrect, though, and I am going to submit the correct information. Please accept it. Thanks, Ann
|Tim Koenig||Charlotte Lee|
Hi Rose: Thanks for your help in linking Charlotte to her parents. And thanks for all your Find-A-Grave contributions. I can't recall if I ever met Charlotte. She was married to my 1st cousin, once removed - my mom's 1st cousin. - Tim
Herman Henschel (Find A Grave Memorial Number: 68345991)
I was looking at his memorial and saw that the dates I had and the dates on here are different. Then I noticed the headstone and dates on here are different as well. The newspaper article is actually dated 13 Feb 1915 (not 1913).
Can you please correct his death date for me? I cannot yet verify the death day as the 10th instead of the 4th but if you know about that I would love to make the changes on my own family tree.

|Ron O||Zipperer memorials|
Rose, Thanks for all your hard work in "Find A Grave". I sent you an email re: the birthplace of Barbara Baumann Zipperer. I was not expecting the memorials for Martin and Barbara to be put under my maintenance. Was this some kind of automated transfer? If you really want me to maintain these, I will need to know who put the information that is on the site to date so I can put them down as the source. The text that is on the site currently is from another descendent of the Zipperer's not me. Please let me know how you want to proceed on these memorials.

Hi Rose--I'm working on a project to add in all the gravestones for this cemetery and was amazed to see all the photos you have put in. Great job!
I'm curious how you got all these? related?
|David Kleist||Claus Kleist (Kleist cemetery)|
My name is David M. Kleist. My sister and I were up in Potter looking for our family's gravesight. We found "Kleist-Krueger" Corner, which we believe still has the active Kleist farms, and some Kleist headstones, but we are looking for the Claus Kleist, and sons, grave sights. Any help in informing us of their location is greatly appreciated!
P.S. If anyone else knows of original Rantoul area resident headstones please contact me!
|Larry McGrath||John McMullen|
