Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised in Northern Ohio. I got hooked on genealogy as a child listening to my Grandma tell stories about her family and my Grandpa's family. I started putting it all in a notebook as soon as I could write. That was over 50 years old now. Boy time can fly when you are having fun.

I am very involved with the National Blue Family Association.
I love taking walks in Old Cemeteries and taking pictures of interesting graves.

Please NOTE: I am not related to all the people that I have added or maintain at this website. I will try to help anyone that I can with information I may have relating to any of the memorials that I have added to this website.
IMPORTANT: I am happy to transfer memorials that I have listed to users if you have a family relationship closer than I have with the deceased. I am generally very accommodating and will bend over backwards to help you find your relative(s).
My personal guidelines in transferring memorials:
1) If you want a memorial transferred to you, please let me know in your first message to me. If you are related in anyway.. Just let me know the relationship. If you have a closer relationship than I do, I will be very happy to transfer the memorial.

I am more than happy to add information if you send it through the EDIT tab. Feel free to add family photos if you have them.

2) PLEASE DO NOT place information in a virtual flower! The chances of me seeing it, is slim to none. Use the EDIT tab and then use the "Suggest a Correction" link and do it there.

3) If you send me information for a memorial. I will check your information with the tools I have available to me. If you send me information Please tell me where you got it from. PLEASE - Do not send me any documents to me unless I request them.

From time from time I will add memorials from resent obituaries. Please do not get upset. I will happily delete my memorial so that you may enter your own for your loved one. Just contact me.

Any pictures I have added may be used freely. But please do give me credit for taking them or adding the FAG. Thanks and I will try to do the same for those I use you have posted.
Happy Hunting

RE: James & Rebecca Powell
It actually came from a Hinamon album. We are in the process of scanning the entire album, then the family that owns the album will be donating it to the Marion County Historical Society becuase it represents such a wide swath of Marion County families.

Margaret Dunlap Waltz

Margaret is my 4th great grandmother on my mother's side. I was wondering if you have been able to find from which county in Ireland she was from by chance?

-Thank you,

James & Rebecca Powell
Hi Sarah, I have a bit of exciting news for you. I have come across a CDV-Album of pictures that a family member had. Included in that album are pictures of James and Rebecca Powell, one as early as 1860. I will be posting them to their memorials today! stu

Devol - Sprague photo pre 1897
Hello, I've been looking at Devol/Sprague relatives and noticed several where you've posted photos. If this is your family you might be interested in the photo I've just added for Sally Farnsworth # 53513111. I came across it in my grandmothers things... a family photo taken before 1897 of Sally and her daughters family....Mary Powers Devol Sprague and her husband...Deacon Seaman Sprague.

Sue, I see you posted the photo of the Military Monument at this cemetery. Did you document the headstones around that monument in the circle? I understand that one may be a Bourdo. If you didn't, is there a list somewhere?

Sarah, glad to transfer her to "family". I have no connection to her or her husband. You will do her memorial justice with her story. BJ

Sarah, thanks for the edits. Do you also know who she is with? Usually spouse, but can never assume that is the case. Always ask if people are related in some manner as I am not related to the memorials that I create. BJ

RE: Corber family Kansas
I will try and remove the head stone of Flora.
They are my family, my second great grandparents.
