I enjoy taking photos for Find A Grave. My interest started while researching my own ancestors. As I took photos of their stones I also took photos of those around them, especially the older ones before they are no longer readable. I hope someone else's journey into their past is a little easier because of the photos I have taken. I enjoy it very much when someone has found a family member's entry in Find A Grave that I created. |
I will gladly transfer memorials to direct family members upon request.
Please ask before using any photos I have taken for Find A Grave. Thank you!

I forgot to mention that I will check on the name Susana Hricik. I do not recall hearing that name but will ask my older cousin. If she says that's another relative, I will be back to search. Again thank you for all you do with the photography of people's relatives grave sites. I would have never found them if it was not for your work.

Thank you,Lavendar for such a prompt response. I finally decided to wrack my memory, drive to the cemetery, and memories began coming back after 51 years. I found my grandparents grave stone with the one uncle's gravestone to their left. I kept thinking about things I had heard as a child and suddenly I began walking up the hill, across the cemetery road, and within five minutes I was standing over a tiny flat grave stone engraved with Julia Hricik, a cross, and 1929. Below the tiny grave stone was a round cement marker with 1056. I don't know what that marker and number indicate. I took many photos with various landmarks included, from the grave sites for future reference for my daughter and three grandchildren. Warmest Regards, Helen

I am trying to find the exact lot and plot in Economy Cemetery for my grandparents, an uncle, and a baby girl, Julia, born to my grandparents. I have contacted many people and places to no avail. In finding your photos for my grandparents and uncle gravesites I am hoping you may have the exact locations within the cemetery. I am traveling from North Carolina and have limited time to visit their graves. The cemetery is large and since their deaths were in 1966,1967,and 1992 my recall on the grave location is limited. Is there any way you can assist me? Your dedication to taking photographs of the gravesites is commendable and very helpful. Sincerest regards, Helen

thank you for your years of work in Find A Grave . My mother Margaret , while not a blood relative , was part of the Vonderheid household for about 10 years . I would like to add a great deal to their site . Could you transfer them to me ? I could give them back if you are close to them . Regards , Ed

And I just found that "Helen" on the headstone was Samuel Vaianisi's wife. I think Samuel was an Americanization of Salvatore.

Hello, The surname for memorial #119532243 should be "Vaianisi"
It appears the headstone has the father's name "Vincent Vaianisi" at the very top.....and the names below are his son Samuel and daughter Rose.
Vincent was not a surname, it was the first name of Samuel's father.
Best wishes, Pam

May I copy your photo of her headstone for my tree? She is my great aunt and was a wonderful character. Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you so very much for the information. My grandfather, Oliver Austin Baker died before I was born, so I only have family stories and official documents to know him by.

Thank you for adding the Certificate of Death to the memorial for Anna M. Baker (135367283). Do you have any more information about her or her husband Bernard? I am trying to find a link to my grandfather, Oliver Austin Baker (93902982), who lived at 514 5th Ave Freedom. I see that Anna Baker lived at 280 5th Ave Freedom, so I think that there might be some connection. Thank you.
