Thanks for the email. Until I found your post about Randolph Buck I did not know where he was buried.
My cousin went to Nashville and looked through archives and found documents where Randolph was in civil was and fought for the south. He was later captured by the North and instead of going to prison he decided to fight for the North. After the was he was taken before a judge for leaving the south and fighting for the north. When the judge asked if he really fought for the North, his reply was Hell Yes and if I was in Hell I would fight for the devil.
I had heard this story during my early years from my dad but was really surprised when my cousin found documents related to this.
My link to Randolph...

Samson Buck had 4 daughters and my dad was the only son. Daughters were..

Eva Buck (Stewart)
Elsie Buck (Cagle)
Jessie Buck (Hale)
Not sure of all the spelling.
I also saw on findagrave that a William Buck is buried here at the Lincoln Cementary.
What is link for you husband to Randolph Buck.
Love chatting with you...I eat this stuff up.

While on website findagrave, I noticed that you have my grandfathers date of death incorrect.
He passed in 1949 as noted on his gravestone.
He was Samson R. Buck, born 1878 and died 1949. I have a picture of his gravestone and was wondering how I could post it to the site.

So very kind of you Darlene to visit Sandra for her Angel Day. Deeply appreciated dear.
Lots of Hugs, Yo
|Angela Woodford||Thank you|
Just to say thank you for the token you left for my Mum on her Angel Day, it was very much appreciated.
|Danny Cassidy||Jane Irvine Bowers|
hi, your entry for Jane Irvine Bowers (my great great great grandmother) seems to have a discrepancy with the date of her birth compared to the date of her husbands life.
|Linda Brindley||RE: Transfer|
Darlene, I am so sorry the transfer of Benjamin Franklin Brindley # 63917979 was sent to wrong person. I saw the name as I had hit send but wasn't thinking. Until it was sent.
I am sure Find a Grave will help you. Thanks for understanding an honest mistake. And yes I would be very pleased to get the book. My E-mail will be found on my profile. Blessing's to you, Thanks
|Tammi Zaleski||RE: Family|
I just saw your message. My line is through William Wade Cowen's son Alexander then his son Wade Hampton Cowan then his daughter Lola Cowan then her son Letcher Bush.
I just found out about Tennessee Cowan Brindley last year. She had quite a story. She must have been a very caring woman. I did not know all of William Wade Cowen's children.
Always nice to meet family - no matter how distant a relation.
