My name is Cherilyn, 38yo, mother, midwest transplant from San Diego, CA. I have been taught since a young age, the importance of history and documentation. Having been blessed with two aunts who have documented both my maternal and paternal trees to the 1600s, I have chosen to use my itch to help others.|
Have been a professional photographer by trade.
Volunteer in the Kansas Room of the Independence Public Library, where we research and document all historical and geneological aspects of Montgomery County, Kansas.
Believe in hope chests, hand-me-down quilts and photos.... take them often, store them digitally, write on the back! :)
Current projects... Trying my best to fulfill requests in Neodesha and surrounding. Recently finished writing a book on the Montgomery County Poor Farm.
Old Projects.... recently comfortable with continuing progress on Gragg/Boorigie lines, documenting the Harrisonville Cemetery and working on getting the owners of the land where a cemetery is, to allow me to clean it up, fence and sign.
Geneologist, writer, photographer and mom. Feel free to email. Love questions and requests.

Hi Cherilyn, On Jane's headstone it looks like her death date states: 69 years, 10 months, 319 days. That would make her death date 23 Jan 1863. I'm not sure if you are willing to correct this as the headstone for the year of death is not that easy to read. Thanks, Sharen Moon

Sorry, but I have no relations with the Markle surname.
Markle is a town in Wells County, Indiana and I have many relatives who lived in the town of Markle.
Just a mix-up! Linda

I have tried everything I can think of to get the posted obituary for Lorena Dancer, Memorial #31728945.
I've clicked, double-clicked, downloaded the picture and the best I can get is an unreadable very tiny picture. If I expand it it's too blurry to read.
And I haven't found it on Ancestry.com either.
Hoping you will re-post her obituary.

Thank you so very much for taking the headstone photo at the High Prairie Cemetery in Kansas. I had the request in for close to 2 yrs but hadn't given up hope....then you came along and fulfilled my request. You are a blessing to me and my Funk family for doing this. Excellent photo too! I do sincerely apologize for taking over a month to thank you, I hadn't forgotten, just going in too many directions for awhile. My gratitude to you is sincerely meant.
Margie from the state of Washington

Thank you so much for the picture of Aunt Jo's grave. We've not been able to get down there in a while and to have the photo is great. She was my husbands great aunt.

Thank you for the addition of this memorial and that of her sister Helen Fenton. I will tell you that the Addie and John that you mention in the Miami Co. cemetery are father and daughter and not the siblings of Maggie and Helen. Is there
any way for you to forward or send the attached clippings you posted on the memorial? I cannot enlarge to a readable size unfortunately on the site.
