I would be more than happy to help you with your ancestors in any way I can. I do a lot of volunteer look ups for find a grave contributors, I do not mind helping you with your brick wall.|
**PLEASE.... PLEASE do not put copies of birth, death or marriage certificates or photo copies of any of these records, in the photo section of my memorials. If you want to point something out, just send document. Please be respectful and do not plaster such documents where pictures should be instead.
Thank you to everyone who visited and kindly left flowers on my memorials.

Great advice from long time member Stu:
I have had the misfortune to encounter some Find A Grave members who are nothing but bullies, and are emboldened by because they are not face to face with the people they are shoving around. I have no problem reporting such people to Find A Grave and Ancestry's Executive Action Team in Provo, and encourage you to do the same if you encounter such a gorgon. If you are feeling mistreated, and cannot work your differences out, or if you do not feel safe because of threats, report the abuse. You do not have to put up with it.

False alarm, it looks like Richard is the son of Bradley Beebe and Ruth Comstock which is not my line. Mine is Emma Comstock and Dallas Beebe.

Debbie, I was not aware that there was another son Richard. I wish I had known I would have attempted to meet him. I'll have to see if I can find anything else on his spouse and possible children.
I don't know where/if he is buried, so I just linked him to his parents without a cemetery.
Thanks so much!

|karin ford||William Ford|
Hi,am curious how you found the info to william ford ,am wondering why he was not buried either with my gr. gr. grndm.or his 2nd wife Ann McKinley I have been trying to find a burial and death certificate for him in hopes of finding his parents,thanks for all the work you have done.
Emma Louisa Comstock in Ridgeville Cemetery is my second great grandmother - her husband Dallas Beebe is in my direct line.
Are you related to Emma and are you aware of any living descendents of Emma or Dallas?
Thanks so much.

Sadly these are the hardest to connect to a family. He was born and died in between the 1830 and 1840 census.
Probably only an obit will clear this up.

I figured it would be easier for you to modify the notes section at least. I didn't find one for her, and although her dc says where she's buried, it doesn't say that her 1st husband is there.
|Mike||RE: Braun/Brown Family|
Thanks for the prompt reply! I appreciate that! I am primarily interested in Michael Johann Braun (Find A Grave Memorial# 159697468) and Margaret Katrina Shamback - Michael's wife (Find A Grave Memorial# 159697946). Both are said to be buried in the Host Cemetery (Berks County PA). I have no area, however, date of deaths are said to be 1804 and 1810 respectively.
I will try the google book search technique you suggested. I will also keep an eye out for any information you might be able to locate from your Ohio Pioneer Families volumes.
Thanks for the service of your son as a fire fighter! I'm sure he would agree that it is truly and honor to be able to help others in their time of need.
Return blessings to you and have a drama free move!

Debbie... I was excited to see your response to Terry Kent a few weeks ago. Like Terry, I have been trying to trace this elusive figure in our family tree. I believe that the information you have provided from Michael Johann Braun matches my family lineage as my "Braun/Brown" ancestors came from Indiana via Ohio and Pennsylvania. I have been looking for online information about the reference book you mentioned, "Ohio The Cross Road of our Nation, Records & Pioneer Families."
I have found an index on-line, however, the only way I can research your source is to order it on-line. Can you tell me what Volume/page the information came from? I would like to look at your references but would like to know exactly what I should order.
Also, another question... Why is Michael Braun listed in the Host Cemetery if there is no reference to him in the Host Cemetery burial index? Was this information that cane from the book you mentioned?
Thanks so much for all your diligent efforts to help people trace family roots. I am a new member of Find-A-Grave and I plan to "pay it forward" by helping others in need of information at my cemetery! (I am a new part-time manager at the Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery in Virginia Beach, Virginia).
