Findagrave has a wonderful feature that allows memorial holders to update many requests at a time, but only if done via the Edit tab --- so please try that before leaving information on the profile page! This feature is a true blessing.|
***** REQUESTS FOR CORRECTIONS *****
UPDATE REQUESTS RECEIVED BY EMAIL:
Please keep your requests via the "other" information option to a minimum, as the workload has become unsustainable.
Over zealous senders may find theirs deleted. Hope they switch to messages via flowers. Thank you.
REQUESTS TO ADD OBITUARIES:
Obits under copyright should be summarized and will not be posted, so please do not send them. In most cases, there is a 72-year or longer time period.
If you wish to download one of my tombstone pictures, you may do so for personal usage and should give proper credit. Under no circumstances should they be added to other sites (such as Ancestry) as if they are your own.
Photographs of individuals require PERMISSION, and if lifted from here without appropriate permission or credit are subject to licensing fees.
REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS
Please follow Findagrave guidelines to be within a few generations and a direct descendant. For older ones, please communicate the reason.
As the number of memorials I manage increases, I sometimes elect to transfer without being asked. If you received a transfer and do not wish to manage it, please transfer back.

Mary, I accidentally added another grave entry for your #94367969. My entry, which is #176366557, has two gravestone pictures and a detailed bio. Rather than try to edit yours, may I suggest you delete yours? Only because it is much quicker. Respectfully, Wanderer

I did not expect you to do this, but I am ok with it.
Just as an aside, I've tried to explain to find a grave management the serious nature of this research project and our need to contact descendants of this line. I know of no other way to communicate this to descendants except through this sort of method, however unorthodox it may be.
|Stephen Moore||Capt Henry Shepler|
Could I possibly have you contact me via email about Henry Shepler?
I run a Shepler-Shipler surname project on FamilyTreeDNA.com and I would like to discuss something with you.
Looking back over my messages to you I had a thought [it was very lonesome rattling around my empty head] that I should send my member number--49188126--to make the process of transfering the memorials easier.
|Bill Weber||Godfrey Weber|
I have found the answer to one of my questions under Rudolph Weber - your name popped up on the memorials for Godfrey Weber and his wife Katherine Schwegler Weber [ numbers 48373952 and 48373691 respectively] I would be delighted to add them to my work load and manage their memorials.
|Bill Weber||RE: Rudolph Weber|
Rudolph's memorial number is 93124408. I don't see any other Webers that you manage that are my relatives. Tonight I built my first memorial for Rudolph Jr. It wasn't hard at all so I'm sure I'll do more though I doubt I'll ever do as many as you have.
Do you have Mt. Vernon Cemetery too? I'm looking for Godfrey Weber [Rudolph's father].
Thanks for all you have done.
|Bill Weber||RE: Rudolph Weber|
Well I guess I'll learn more as I go. If you also have Godfrey Weber in Mt Vernon Cemetery, he is Rudolph's father and I could do him for you too.
I'm not sure, do I now maintain records for all the people buried in the plot with Rudolph or do you have them and will transfer them to me?
Margaret E. Weber
John D. Byer
Rudolph Weber, Jr.
Thanks for the work you have done, I hope I can continue to do as well.
|GloriaBee||Benjamin Brown's wife|
Please check the document (link provided), written by a granddaughter in 1891. It includes different information about Benjamin's wife--Susannah Wells, daughter of Francis Wells, who was a brother of Elizabeth Wells, Samuel Adams' second wife. That Elizabeth died in 1808 (the same year as Benjamin's wife died per the memorial); her entire will is included in one of the Samuel Adams books.
Link to the Brown Memorial document:
Benjamin's and Susannah's marriage info can be found in Ancestry's Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988. The marriage date is the same as that included in the Brown Memorial document:
21 Dec 1780
Francis Wells' father, also named Francis, married Susannah Allen Welch (his second wife.) Coincidentally, the marriage date for Benjamin and Betsy listed in the memorial is the same month and year as the record on Ancestry for Benjamin and Susannah. It appears that the info about Benjamin's wife may be "blended" from two different women.
But, I could be wrong!

May I use your photo of the Cove Burying Grounds sign for people who probably are buried there? As I normally do, your credit will be like "photo by Mary Harrell-Sesniak for Find A Grave #34166386".
