I am always happy to add additional information, create links, or make corrections to the memorials i have entered. I will try to do this as soon as possible. Please use the edit tab when sending the information. |
If I make a mistake on a memorial, it's just that--a mistake. If you find a mistake, I'll do my very best to get it corrected.
You have permission to use of my gravestone photos. All I ask is that I be given credit for taking the photo.
An explanation for some of the causes of death:

Can you please remove this from Evergreen Cemetery in Emmetsburg, IA? It has been discovered that it was removed from the Loon Lake Cemetery in Jackson County, Minnesota back in the mid-1970's. the stone is now in the possession of the Jackson County Historical Society since it is no longer safe to be returned to the Cemetery. (The Cemetery is undergoing restoration due to extreme vandalism). Thank you so much! So glad to have this back where it belongs!!

Thank you. We cannot find his marker. It may have been damaged and removed. I will post his death certificate on his page.

Thank you for your help. Just checking if you thought anything seemed out of place since the stone was broke off and appears to be leaning against a tree. We believe it is a stone that was somehow taken from the Loon Lake Cemetery and placed in the Emmetsburg Cemetery. Looking into the matter and will probably retrieve it to place where it belongs. THANKS SO MUCH!!

Do you remember when you took this photo in Emmetsburg, IA? Did it seem out of place to you? Like the stone did not belong in the cemetery? Was it a request from someone or did you just add the photo to the cemetery because it was there??

May I say that you have done an excellent job on her. Without your research, I may not have completed my dear friend, Myrtle "Myrtie" [Holdsworth] Wiese's memorial.

I have to assume he did! I am not really related, just read the story on his memorial. Bell Steffy was married to Clarence N. Pepples and died at 18. HE murdered his 2nd wife and himself. Emma Hutchinson and that's where I am related, so not to the Steffys at all. Yes, interesting, you should read her memorial! (37616564)
Hello, I noticed something you might want to check into. Issac Quigley's daughter Margaret married Dennis Healey or sometimes referred to as Haley. They are both buried in Corning, Adams, Iowa. If you search Margaret Healey/Iowa/Adams County you will find her and her obituary write up making references to her brother John and sister Kate Winters.

I just accepted the edit for you requested. Would you like me to transfer the memorial to you? I added the memorials for their family members to find them, and would be glad to transfer it to you.

Thank you. I'll request a photo as soon as I can. Right now I'm at the twenty photo limit.
