Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love cemeteries. I find them very peaceful. I have most of my family and anyone I know that has died listed here. I like finding the graves and taking pictures of them. It has become quite a fun hobby.

You posted a photo of the tombstone for this person 10397951. The memorial does not list the cemetery, could you please let the poster know where this person is buried?

Would you transfer my Dad #14243475 to me, member #49224105. We have time to work on our
Family Trees now that we are retired.

Mattie Scull Sheffield

I recently put up a picture for Mattie Scull Sheffield, #13059568. You left some flowers saying she was your great aunt. Her husband, Norman Noel Sheffield, was my great uncle. Would you happen to have a picture of Noel & Mattie?

The Dark Poet
Oak Grove Cemetery

I was doing some memorial work the last 2 days out at Oak Grove Cemetery (Bristol, IL). You have a Nicholas Babbitt #14279658 as being buried in Oak Grove. I thought this was correct until I went out today for some more photos and realized that the cemetery is actually 2 different cemeteries. Nicholas Babbitt is actually buried in St. Patrick's cemetery, and has a memorial. I saw a huge row of trees that seem to divide these 2 cemeteries. I will go through my work from yesterday and see if I too added some people to the wrong cemetery. Thanks. I would have never know if I didn't go back today to double check some things, and I saw the other cemetery sign...

John McKown & Nancy Jones McKown
Eight years ago you left a virtual flower on the memorial for William S. McKown (F.A.G. memorial 7563809) identifying him as your g-g-grandfather. I'm a distant cousin. Today I spent some time trying to get children of William and Adella/Della/Dollie linked to them. Do you have any clues as to where William's parents (John McKown and Nancy Jones McKown) are buried? That's been a mystery to me. Thanks. - Jay

Trasfer Mary & David Elmore
Greetings DHM:

If Mary Amanda Elmore (14944406) and David William Elmore (14944408) are not relatives, might you consider transferring them to a family member such as Kara Seager (46775702), who previously wrote a bio for each of these people, or myself (47476931), David's 3rd great grandson?

Thank you.

I wondered if you would link Stephen R. Ellithorpe #15605194 to his son, William Henry Ellithorpe #15605212. Also would you link Stephen Ellithorpe's daughter to him. Her Find A Grave number is 38391461 - Antionette Ashcraft.

Thank you so much for your Find A Grave work.

Bobby Jones
I was surprised but the person you transferred Bobby to was able to transfer him to me. Find A Grave use to have a rule that a memorial could only be transferred once - so they must have changed their rules.

Thank you again for the transfer - Valerie
