I was born in Riverside, Burlington County New Jersey and spent much of my first ten years there. My father died in WWII having never seen me. My step-father was in the Navy so we spent a lot of time traveling around. I graduated from high school at the Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, joined the Navy in 1961, came out to California in 1963 and have been here ever since. I have been married twice, have three children and eleven grandchildren. My second wife Sandy and I have known each other since we were five years old and have been married since 2006. I have been doing my family genealogy since 2010 and a member of Find A Grave for over four years now.|
I am interested in families in the Philadelphia and Burlington County, NJ areas with last names of Freck/Frech (originally from Germany mid 1800s), Broderson/Brodersen (Denmark), Stecher (originally from Germany mid 1800s) and Hirst, originally from England. Hirst were prominent in the cigar business in Philadelphia. Additionally, I am working on my wife's family, Wetherell and Goodwin in New Hampshire.
If you see a picture of a gravestone I have taken and want to use it, by all means copy it and use as needed. If you see a family members memorial that I have created and you would like to manage it, just ask.

Hi Dean, it's always nice to be able to complete information as you find it. Jere and Elsie were neighborhood friends of my folks. I grew up with their kids.
|Penny Stevens||RE: Mark Cerro|
That would be Mark's father. I have a trip planned out to Greenlawn SW but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe I can get Johnnie's info and get her a memorial set up. I also want a good pic of Mark's marker, when I went last the sun was terrible glare on it. Thanks for all the work you have done!
|J. Rubio||RE: Emma LeDoux|
I wanted to send you a biography for you to post on her memorial. Being that hers is empty. I thoroughly researched and wrote about her life and death several years ago. Her story will also be in my next historical non-fiction book about various women in history. I just wanted to offer you a bio on her, since all there is are some newspaper photos posted on her memorial but no real "bio" on her as a person. If you would like it, just let me know and I will send it your way. -- Thanks, J. Rubio

|J. Rubio||Emma LeDoux|
I am working on my latest book, "Stories of the Forgotten: Infamous, Famous & Unremembered," and one of the chapters will be about Mrs. Emma LeDoux. Just wanted to say hello to the person who manages her memorial page on Findagrave. Is there any way you can post a short bio about her on here? I can provide you with details of her life, growing up, etc, if you'd like. -- Best Regards, J. Rubio

I have 4 DeWoody family members buried at Union Cemetery. Bob #141453962 was my gdpa he is plot 83-4. His mother Cordelia #141454330 plot 77-13. Son Donald #145927376 plut 74-12 and according to his funeral memorial handout that I have saying Gurney L was also buried at Union Cemetery I am thinking that this one you have listed for S Lee DeWoody is actually Gurney L Dewoody because he died on the same date you have listed. ID#14592710 plot 74-2.... all four of them are in Garden of Faith section. Is it possible that you mistyped an S when it should be a G. I am trying to link everyone and would also love to manage their memorials. I am registered as Terry Rascon under email email@example.com not sure how you transfer it to me or if you can just see if there needs to be a correction so I can go back and establish the linking process.

Hello Dean - this is my great great grandfather and he has another Find-A-Grave memorial - can you help to combine them? Please see # 62825304 - thank you.
Would love a photo very much of his headstone. His great grand-daugter - my mother - just passed and putting things together.
|mpf59||Duplicate Azor/Asa Anderson memorials|
I believe you have duplicated a couple memorials, including one you earlier created:
first created: Asa R. Anderson 1829-1907 # 94155879
later created: Azor Reese Anderson 1829-1907 # 126409501
first: Asa R. Anderson 1872-1904 # 125210867
later: Azor Reese Anderson, Jr. 1872-1904 # 126411755
The 2nd one for each man created seems to be a duplicate, regardless of spelling. The later two seem to be using unsourced information from the internet rather than cemetery/tombstone data. In fact it would be very nice if you could supply the source for the death dates in 1904 and 1907 respectively, as they do no show up in California death indexes that I can find.
Asa can easily be a later misspelling of Azor, but the supposed middle name of "Reese" being what the initial "R" stands for, needs some source as well.
Thanks for your attention to this and your contributions to Findagrave!

|Penny Stevens||Vern and Mary Tucker|
Hello Dean, thank you for the transfer! Vern and Mary were special friends to me as I was growing up. I appreciate getting to take care of them.
|Penny Stevens||Vern Tucker #145191875|
I wanted to let you know I submitted an edit for Vern Tucker #145191875 adding his wife Mary Tucker #145191321. My parents were close family friends of Vern and Mary, and I grew up knowing them my whole life. Great people, I still miss them. Thanks for adding them to the memorials.
