Bio

"Phyllis" Jeannae Kwanja "Sis" Owens of Somerville, Morgan County, AL; residing in Enterprise, Coffee County, AL

Parents: "Lonnie" Verne Owens & Glenda "Sue" GRANTLAND Owens McCutcheon
Grandparents: "Lester" Bert Owens & Dorothy "Dimple" FLACK Owens and George Odis "Ode" Grantland & Valerie "Claudine" LYLE Grantland Stanley
Great grandparents: Richard "Emmet" Owen & Norah GOODSON Owen, Theodore Robert "Mr. Thee" Flack & Fannie May "Mrs. Fannie" THOMAS Flack, James Edgar "Ed" Grantland & Florence Eunice "Eunie" BLEVINS Grantland, and Harry Floyd "H.F." Lyle & Dora "Edna" BREEDING Lyle

I met all of the above but two, and everyone is now gone. I love and miss so tremendously all of my family who have passed. They were good, hard working, caring, kind hearted, God fearing people with few exceptions. But then again, we are all human, and none of us are perfect. Only God is perfect.

Goal: To do everything possible and in my power to insure that the existence of my family is recorded and remembered in the future. I will not always be here. As long as one person lives who remembers someone, that remembered person continues to exist..even if only as a memory. Today, we have mass media to sustain our existence into the future as data..even if not a memory.

Picture: Mama Dimp (my paternal grandmother) and me taken at a Senior Citizens Dance in Arab, Marshall County, Alabama that Aunt Ruth, Uncle R.E., Penny WARD Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Lawrence Joseph "Larry" Krebs and I attended with Papa (my paternal grandfather) and Mama Dimp one night on our visit HOME.

See from whom I get my widow's peak? This is my favorite "adult" picture of us.

Please leave flowers for my immediate family via the virtual cemetery names "All Those I Love Most". Thank you.
