|A short walk through Trinity Churchyard in 2004 got me interested in older cemeteries. A few years later, I found it difficult to research my family geneology. I started adding names here to maybe help others with their research. I'm also a big Revolutionary War buff and I have been searching for graves of anyone who somehow participated in the Revolutionary War.|

|Stephen McDonald UE||Henry Lyon #12949976|
Many thanks for doing his memorial.
Henry Lyon is the brother of my G-Grandfather X8.
Would it be possible to have this memorial transferred to me? As I'm working on our family history. Thanks

Hannah second wife of Philomen,
My second message. They are right next to each other tucked under a now large shrub. Haannah, born Hannah Sturges, married first John S Badgley and then Philomen as his second wife. She is also a gggrandmother. Would you please transfer her to me also?
A sincere thank you for all that you do.

Hi Dan, Thanks for all you do. This grave is now almost illegible so the pix that you took is precious. This is my 3rd great grandfather. Would you please transfer him to me?
Thank you, Kathy

|Debra||Veghte Burying Ground|
Hi there Dan. You were actually at Dumont Burying Ground (https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=1961481) when you photographed the photos you added to memorials in Veghte Burying Ground (https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2546745). The location is mislabeled on Google Maps. So, the memorials you created are actually duplicates of memorials that had already been created in Dumont.

|JA Harder||Hamilton McCollister (1742-1825)|
Hamilton McCollister #40007291 was born in 1742. All of the old records, including the DAR record, say 1742. The gravestone says he died "in the 84 year of his age", meaning he was 83, not yet 84. Apparently, this has been misinterpreted and folks have changed his date of birth.
Thanks Dan for the transfer,Also for being a graver Dale Coover

Thank you so very much for adding the information to Elizabeth's page. I appreciate all that you are doing to maintain the pages.
Thank you again,

The Dutch NYC banking family Ann Amos married into was my family, although from my own research, we weren't bankers - we were physicians.
I'd be very interested in some back research on the Van Burens (van Beuren) that you may have to further my understanding of my ancestors on that branch of the tree.
On my 6th GGF, Richard Amos, I'm led to believe that sry likely was pulled into the Culper Ring by his lifelong best friend, George Higday, a Culper spy, for at least one action: the Great Raid.
The calculus that would go into the assessment would be simple: if you're going to stage a prison break, who do you ask to help? Answer: someone you've known your entire life and know won't rat on you "for King and country."
