|Lindsay Kimmel||Clarion county Browns|
This may be a long shot but are you aware of any of the Browns from Clarion County fathering a child named Lavina Brown? Lavina married W.W.Huffman. Lavina's mother was Mary Ann Courson.
I've been trying hard to determine Lavina's fathers name. The family story is that Mary Ann worked for a Dr.Benjamin Brown in the mid 1800s in Currlsville, Clarion County. The Doctor and Mary Ann created Lavina. Mary Ann gave the child his name. Oral history says that Dr.Brown hitched his horse and buggy along the river, hopped on a raft and was never heard from again. Again this could be an inaccurate account of events. I know Alexander Brown had a child who was a doctor but his birth year was 1844 so that would be unlikely.
If you could pass on any information about this situation I would appreciate it.

Good morning Pamela! I would love this memorial as well. And any of the children you have set up. These are all cousins. And I've recently discovered more to the family while readaing Cyrus Sarchet's Hist of Guernsey County.
Thank you so much!

Thank You so much Pamela, it means alot to me. I recently became a member of Guernsey County Genealogical Society and was able to spend four days up there. They have so much information and I plan on going back during the next year. I got copies of two inventories of that cemetery done so I am getting further connected with the other families and able to figuer out the missing gravestones!
Have a blessed day! And if you need anything from Florida don't hestitate to ask me.

Hello Pamela, The above is the husband to my 3rd great Aunt, if he is no relation of yours I would love to manage his memorial. Just thought I'd ask! And I'm curious if you are related to anyone buried at Bethe M E Cemetery. My 3rd great grandparents were founding members of the church and they all seemed to know each other very well, as was the way to survive back then.
Have a wonderful day!

Pamela, this is REALLY important. I need a copy of the original newspaper article that you posted on John Magee's page. If you have the original, can you email it to me? Or tell me where you obtained it? Thanks, Carol Nocella

Hi Pamela! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. I was wondering if you would transfer memorial 34387493 to me (Elizabeth Johnson Lyons)- I am a direct descendant of the Johnsons. Thank you for considering and good day!
|Carol Nocella||RE: Re: Andrew William Magee|
Thanks Pamela. Yes, keep looking! Some online trees have other parents for him but I think what you have makes more sense, but I need proof.
|Carol Nocella||Andrew William Magee|
Regarding Andrew William Magee who died 1858 in Clarion Co. PA, on his page you have a link to his mother Martha Magee (wife of Charles). Can you please tell me what is your source for the identity of Andrew's parents? Where did you find that? I'm trying to sort out these Magees for a DAR app and I need to document every fact. Thanks, I appreciate it. Carol Nocella
