Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a wife, mother, and grandmother.

My passions in life are my family, genealogy,
gardening,and writing.

I started climbing my family tree when I was twelve, and haven't stopped yet!

I have enjoyed taking some "roots vacations" to
Illinois and Pennsylvania. Genealogy naturally leads you to the world of history. I enjoy American History very much.

Many of my ancestors came to America for religious reasons. I have traced them through
just about every war that America has taken part in.

"Turning Hearts" comes from the last verse in The Old Testament, Malachi 4: 6. is one of my very favorite websites.

It is a second death after you are forgotten.
How many generations does it take, even in a close knit family, for the fabric to unravel....?
Albert Lewis, Jewish Rabbi

"The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone." Harriet Beecher Stowe

"And death hath come upon our fathers; nevertheless we know then, for a Book of Remembrance we have written among us, according to the pattern of God." Moses 6: 45-46

"It isn't the date on either end that counts
But how they used their dash
For that dash between the dates
Represent the time they spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved them know
What that little line is worth."
William Elliot Dudley

Those we love, don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard, but always near
--Still loved, still missed and
Very dear.

Cancer is so limited..
It cannot cripple Love
It cannot shatter Hope
It cannot corrode Faith
It cannot destroy Peace
It cannot kill Friendship
It cannot suppress Memories
It cannot silence Courage
It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot steal Eternal Life
It cannot conquer the Spirit
Cancer is so limited!

Transition by William Cullen Bryant

So live that when they summons
comes to join
The innumerable caravan which moves
To that mysterious realm where each
shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not like the quarry slave
at night,
Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained
and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach
thy grave
Like one who wraps the draperies of
his couch
About him and lies down to pleasant

Ann Wayne Hayman
Thanks for your email.

Hmmm, Ann's father, grandfather, husband and child are buried in the cemetery. Since she was buried in the same grave as her father that may be why there is no record for the burial.

The info either came from a Wayne family website that showed the Wayne burials and Ann's was included or other Wayne family records. Since Ann is a cousin 7x removed my pursuit of in depth info is not a high priority.

I personally have been to cemeteries where their records did not reflect burials. In one case the book showing burials by lot had nothing, yet the burial by date book did show the burial. In a couple of other cases the books had nothing yet the obit reflected the burial location.

If you notice on Ann's memorial it states she was buried in the same grave as her father.

RE: Frame Family-Larkhall Cemetery

Thank you for your kind words.

I realise that there is another request you have made for Larkhall. I could not find it today but I will look again when I can.
