I had over 20 years of family tree information, and I lost it all when my computer crashed. I'm always looking for information on both sides and all information is always welcomed. |
The main Family names that I'm working on are as follows:
Dimmers, Fernholz, Gahr, Grupe, Hoff, Hauspolt, Jungmann, Lux, Lentz, Peters, Shittle, Wilmes,
Deal, Epperson, Von Ende, Ende, House (Hause), Scherer,
Both sides of my family, are from Minnesota, so there is a possibility, if your family names match mine we could be someway related.
I don't mind transferring a site if your related and want to take care of the site. I don't need to have my name attached to there site to know there my family. I will try to visit them when I can, But there never to far from my mind.

|Ron Rader||Albert House|
Albert or Idyle House at Branson. If you would like to manage these memorials (or any others), let me know. I can transfer to you.
|Robert Murphy||D Murphy/K Dimmers|
Working on family tree and noted your comments. I may have some information. I believe that these are my Grand Parents. Unsure how to contact you -
|Mary Ince||Gertrude Dimmers Schmit|
I have been working with Calvary Catholic Cemetery records quite closely for the past few years. I have never found any burial information placing her in this cemetery. The last burial in Calvary was in 1969.
If she is buried in a Shakopee cemetery, it is more likely she would be in Shakopee Catholic Cemetery, which was previously named St Mark and St Mary Cemetery.
Also, her maiden name would have been Murphy. Dimmers was her mother's maiden name.

Not to worry. It will all work out eventually. I work on them when I can but we've also had so much cold and snow. The last time I was over to get some photos, the leaves were so thick on the stones that I couldn't find anyone so gave up. -- Merrily

Thank you for the suggestion, but the statement on the Greenacres page (Cemetery notes and/or description: Prefer photo requests to be emailed to them.) is very old. There is new management and staff and as far as I can learn, the statement has not been applicable for a number of years. At least not for the 4 years I have been photographing stones there. -- Merrily

He replied. Said they have NO problem with volunteers taking photos for either Billion Graves or Find a Grave.
So, the notation is not accurate, not even sure what the point of it is since you have to send an email, and now some other place gets your email.
I wonder if Find A Grave would change that note.

Please let me know the name of the person for whom the request was made.
|Barb OD||RE: Photo|
I sent a message to the person who responded to me and asked if he was going to post the photos on Find a Grave, he said he was not, and that he want not sure how find a grave did that.
I kind of gave him a piece of my mind and told him someone needs to change the note on that cemetery or there will be copyright issues with Billion Graves.

I used the link, and someone quickly replied by giving me two links to Billion Graves which had photos, which doesn't help get the photos on Find a Grave. So not sure what to think about that link.
