|B.J. Waters||Doris Deering|
Regarding your photo request, Doris's bio says she was a former wife of Gary Deering. She shares a headstone with him. But there is no date of death. Is he still living?

I'll be sending you an email either this evening or tomorrow with the information you requested. I went ahead and did a light search of Mr. Lively and will add my findings to his memorial. If you have additional information you would like to see added that would be great!
Thanks for transfer

|Don Stowell||RE: Rice & Martha Williams|
Rice came to Tucson because he had pulmonary tuberculosis. Until the 1950's, there was no cure or good treatment for TB so the doctors just told everybody to go to Arizona. There were several TB Sanitariums in Tucson and the US Veterans Hospital was also located there. Many of the TB victims were the result of the poisonous gases used in the trenches in WWI. Those gases weakened the lungs and allowed TB free access.
This is from the Moore Family Tree on Ancestry: "Death
Rice Williams died on December 14, 1923, in Tucson, Arizona, when he was 73 years old.
14 Dec 1923 • Pima County, Tucson, Arizona,(Died at son Benjamins home) I have not been able to verify that.
Texas Death Cert: Benjamin died of TB on 03 Sept 1927 in San Angelo, TX.
Better than 1/2 of the deaths in Pima County (Tucson) Arizona in 1923 were from TB.
