I became interested in genealogy while trying to find out the name of my great great grandmother. I found her name, but still haven't been able to locate her place of burial. My information here has come from walking many cemeteries and hand recording the information. I love the idea of helping someone locate their lost loved ones. If you find any errors, please let me know so I can change the information. |
If I have recorded a family member of yours, please contact me so that I can transfer ownership. PLEASE do not ask for transfers unless you are a family member. When you send the transfer request please tell me your relationship to the memorial. If there is no relationship info, I won't transfer. I don't add census information to memorials, but I will link family members if you provide proof of relationship. I used to approve all edits sent to me, but I've found so many errors through my own research that I've stopped doing that. Thanks for understanding.

The source for my additions for Samuel Alexander for you to consider approving are the Indiana Death Certificate #128 for Samuel Alexander. The informant was Mary L. Alexander, as you identify as his wife. The certificate records his birth and death locations as well as his father and mother's names. Thank you for your consideration!

Lisa, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I removed the photo from Norval Ray, created a memorial for Norval E. and added the photo to his memorial.

Hi Rogier: I just posted Zillah Bell Burr's headstone on her memorial page. I noticed that there are two other Burr family members buried next to Zillah. Do you want photographs of those? (Emma Burr - daughter of Henry & Bell Burr); Edith and Albert Burr) If so, just make a request and I can post those pics if they have not been posted already. Art

|caching hound||Virgil Rumber request|
I have confirmed with the cemetery office that Virgil Rumble does not have headstone. Would you like a photo of the burial site? Let me know.
|David D||John Mccrarey 1909|
I'm sorry to say the Oak Hill Cemetery office didn't find any records for another John McCrarey or McCrery or McCrary. I did however photo headstones for Elizabeth McCrarey Born 1864 Died 1897, and for children Elizabeth and William. If you'd like those photos please let me know an email address I can send them to.

Are you looking for 2 different people named John Mccrarey in Oak Hill Cemetery? I only see the one in the database with a death date of 9/1906.
