You are most welcome!

I also wanted to let you know that I created a memorial for his wife Eva. I posted a picture of her stone as well and linked her to William and her parents per her death certificate on the seekingmichigan.org site.

Take a look at this record at Mountain View. The lettering is missing in spots. Being a family member, you can call the office and request the letters be replaced. Is should not cost anything for you. When that is complete, make another request and I will take another picture for you.
The number is on the main cemetery page for Mountain View Cemetery.

Good Morning (or afternoon in Kansas),
I guess you noticed that I am linking up the Leiter family members.
I am knee deep in Leiters!
I have a couple questions . . .
What source can you cite for the birth location of Ray? I have not found anything definitive for his birth location.
Next, the record for Ida says she was born and died in 1913, about 11 months apart. Many of the usual records are not available for a child living between census times.
Dora, as her mother, would have been about 50 years old. Unusual, but not impossible. The last child before that would be Ray, when Dora was 36.
Have you any records linking her to Dora, or could she have been the first child of Charles and Florence?
By the way, I have a son living and working in Kansas City, Kansas. Small world!
Hope your day is going well.

You will notice that some of the letters and numbers have fallen of the front of the crypt.
If you are a family member (even remote?), you could contact the cemetery office and request they replace the letters and numbers. The phone number is on the main page for Mountain View Cemetery.
When that process is completed, make another photo request and we will get it done.

Thank you so much for finding his real given name! I really appreciate your hard work. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

You're very welcome and I'm sorry the photo didn't come out better. Dark stones are always difficult. I may try again on a more overcast day and try using a flash.

Yes, the flowers serve as a marker for Mr. Cowdrey's burial. It was my pleasure to photograph and to read about his life...

Mr. Cowdrey is buried in an unmarked grave that has been verified by cemetery staff. Would you like to have a photograph of the area?
