*** Well, after an aortic dissection almost a year ago I'm finally getting back on Find-A-Grave. It's going to be slow going for awhile. I REALLY don't check my email as often as I should; it's been a long recovery. If I haven't responded to an email or a message, PLEASE resend. We're starting from scratch here, folks. Thanks for understanding. -Shandril 10.1.16 ***|
"May the Smile of Bast be upon us in Life, and may the Hands of Anpu be upon us in Death, as the Light of Ra shines upon us Always. So Mote It Be!" -Shandril oc Arran, High Priestess
I love the peace and quiet of cemeteries, walking among the tombstones and really making myself think about the folks lying beneath my feet. What were they like? Who loved them? Who are they now?I also enjoy genealogy and being a Find-A-Grave contributor has served a two-fold purpose for me. Not only and I able to make online memorials for my loved ones, but I've also been able to provide photos of the final resting places of others' loved ones. This reciprocation of energy with like-minded folk at F-A-G is very gratifying; no matter our separate walks of life, our diverse backgrounds, we all come together in common purpose to make sure the Dead are remembered.
My family names include: Ashworth, Byerly, Calvert, Cathey, Chamberlain, Coleman, Driskell, Dudley, Hull, McClanahan, Moxley, Kirkpatrick, Lyons, Palmer, Purdy, Schneller, Smith, Teeter, and Walters.
Blessings and much thanks to fellow contributors that have been able to photograph the graves of my family members!

|stacey friend||Swayze family|
I noticed you made a memorial for the Swayze family with the big tomb in Los Angeles, CA. I believe it was for my great aunt Emma Swayze (Casler) and her husband. W. F Swayze. I was wondering if you had anymore info on the tomb and can you confirm that it belongs to them.

Please advise if you know where you snapped this picture at Pomona Cemetery. I went there to visit my relatives and find info on this baby, but the office had lost records and did not know the location of this grave. I'm trying to find which of my family this baby belongs. Todd Mortuary was unable to find records also!

Thank you for your consideration.

I still cant seem to add the mother of Anise to her memorial. The memorial number for her mother I had given previously is now not correct (that memorial was a duplicate and has been deleted. Please add her mother (Elmira Keepers Robinson)memorial 146739506.. That is the correct one.
Sorry for the confusion.

Am making a suggestion for correction on Memorial # 46163874 . The information on this memorial and the others is hard to understand and that is true. Antoinette is on my my wife side of the family and this is the first time that he have seen it. Thanks to your photo. Frank first married Laurel and then he married again to Antoinette. Frank and Laurel had a child that is in the upper left side as it states. I would have to say that Antoinette was not very attactive.

I have made a memorial #147704914, for this lady; wife of Samuel Evans Millican, memorial #24825355. I've made the link from Samuel for his wife and on her page the link of her parents. Now that I've done that, I don't have a photo of her headstone. You are in charge of his memorial, so I'm asking if you or someone you know, could take a picture of her headstone.
Let me know what you decide.
