I very much enjoy genealogy research, like my mother and my grandfather before me. I began my research in 1997 and have had moderate success. I primarily research and have links to the Ashe County, North Carolina area. My main family lines are: Neaves, Thompson, Phipps, Blackburn, Sheets, Shepherd, Roark. My husband's main lines are: Dollar, Barker, Elliott, Miller, Greer, Clark.

I also enjoy helping others with their own research to the best of my abilities. I am a wife, mother to 2 teenage children, and work full time, so I do not get to attend to my genealogy work as much as before. I still love genealogy, but I have other important priorities. I say this so that you understand that I will help you if at all possible, but I may be slow about it! :) Accuracy is important to me and I strive for that. If you are only interested in adding numbers to your file, regardless of accuracy, then I am not a good candidate to work with you. Thank you.
