Bio and Links
Bio Photo If my ancestor is a duplicate. please, if possible allow me to have a transfer, if you are not family. (One person, whom I will not name, in 2008, ignored my request and now my bio info is merged to their post, and I cannot edit, and some of the info from the other manager is incorrect. I will always transfer any Memorials I have created, if there is a relationship. I creat Memorials for people who wish me to. I have inherited photos, Bibles, and love to do extensive research on my family and other peoples' families. Love that Find A Grave has a Facebook page and are sharing fascinating and Historical Memorials of families. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO CONTACT ME! Just a lady interested in history and how it influenced my/our ancestors. I will always try to include parents, place of birth, and as much history as possible, including census information and families of my/our ancestors. If your ancestor is also mine, I am willing to share information. If I have made any errors, please let me know so I can correct.

Abby Jane Vorenkamp

I received an email request for a change in ownership for Abby Jane Vorenkamp. For some reason, I cannot reply to the email, nor does the request show up in my messages. I am more than happy to turn this over to you along with the other 3 Vorenkamp memorials I created. I added the adjacent plots when I took the photo of David's marker a few years ago. It certainly makes sense that someone in the family gives them the proper attention they deserve. I just need your contributor ID# and I will complete the transfer.

Best Regards,

Alchin Farm Cemetery

4585 Van Orden Rd.

Webberville, MI 48892

Sexton: David Wheeler

Webberville Cemetery

2985 Webberville Rd.

Webberville, MI 48892

Sexton: Paul Shepler

You could call the Sexton of each cemetery and confirm the correct cemetery Richard is buried in.
With a confirmation note in the bio as proof as to the correct cemetery.

I see there are two different cemeteries in the area Webberville and Alchin. You can check the difference with find a grave by clicking on the name of the cemetery.

below is a link to the Webberville cemetery.

below is link to the Alchin cemetery.

RE: Richard E LeVeque
Yes the other memorial can be removed by a merge by find a grave when the memorials match. I have seen it happen often. I have an edit to change the name on the other memorial to match yours, once that happens I can send a notice to find a grave of a duplicate memorial.
Yours was first and will be the one they keep.
If find a grave moves his bio info from the other memorial to your memorial you could edit your brothers name to comply with the rules of find a grave.
I would put a note in his bio about the name of the cemetery being different at one time after we get rid of the other memorial.

Hattie Hall
I had some time so I did a little searching, below is what I found in Kalamazoo Co..
Hope this is of some help.
PS, I have found Riverside's records are full of spelling errors.

Verta L. Langdon, below is the plot, which is Riverside / City of Kalamazoo / Section Q / lot / 039 / grave / 05. I think the L you have listed is Verta's middle initial. John is in grave 06. Also Mr. Hall's headstone & marriage record have his name as Irwin. Anytime I run into various spellings I go by the headstone.
Another little tidbit, Hattie & Irwin were married in Kalamazoo Co., not Calhoun. See link, it's the first one on the page.

LANGDON, Verta, L Plot: Riverside CityQ 039,05 Funeral Home: Langeland 07/28/1967

RE: Verta L Langdon
Hi Marilyn,

I didn't mean to confuse you, I took a photo of Ruth O'Brien Langdon & was checking to see if it had been submitted & noticed the date of death for John so I thought I had better send you a note. Maybe you can get the person who submitted Verta's photo to add it to the memorial you have for Verta.
