I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
I just want to let everyone know, I do read all of the messages left on my page, and appreciate hearing that my efforts are not in vain. I am sorry though that I only answer the ones that are a question. I do appreciate all of your messages.
Thank You for your messages

Hi Thomas. Thank you so much for your effort in getting me a photo of my great grandfather's grave. I will now see if I can get a death certificate to make sure this is his final resting place. Once I'm sure I will then attach a photo to the burial records. David was born in Scotland and emigrated to the USA in 1917. If you need any information for your research from the south of England I am only too happy to oblige.

Are you by chance related to Edmund Wells? I am trying to locate any journal/register he might have kept when be was the Magistrate at Cambridge, NY in 1785.
