I became interested in FAG as a result of working on my ancestry. I was born on the 19th of September 1955. I am the mother of four children , and grandmother of two. I believe as long as we live we should keep the memories of our family alive. As well as knowing, the lives our ancestors lived, the choices they made, is for a large part, why we are who we are today.|

Thanks so much for taking the photo of Margaret Shows gravestone! I really appreciate it!
|Dick Felts||RE: Martha Henderson headstone photo|
Sharon: No need to send a full-resolution image. I think you're right that the images I can download directly from Find A Grave will give me everything possible from the engraving. I believe there is also an earlier transcription (need to check my notes) that would have been made when the stone was in slightly better condition. In any case, I definitely have what I need from the nice photos you provided. Thanks again.

Sharon: Many thanks for taking and posting photos of the headstone of Martha Henderson, buried in Carmel Associate United Presbyterian Cemetery in Jefferson County, Indiana. That is a very old and worn stone but your various photos do bring out as much as possible of the original information. Thanks!

Thank you for the photos, of the grave location, for Ansel and Caroline "Carrie" (Fleming) Thomas.
Taking the extra time to identify the graves, and the quality of the photos, is exceptional!
I have noticed several of the other photos you have taken for the members of Find A Grave.
Your time and effort to help others is sooo gratefully appreciated.
Ansel is my 1st cousin 3x removed.
His parents were George and Elizabeth (Vestal) Fox. His siblings were Mary Jane Fox, William W. Fox, Albert Fox, Sarah Elizabeth Fox, George Oliver Fox, James M. Fox, Belle Fox, andMarion Riley Fox.
I believe that most of them, if not all of them stayed in Texas.
Thank you so much!!!
Thanks for your attempts to help. To be honest I'm not sure what other family would be there with him.
Thomas A Fox fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War. He was from Weatherford Texas. (Born in Indiana) Was captured/wounded in a battle in Louisiana. He was a POW, but after the war disappeared. There are some who say the person I requested the photo for is him. But I wouldn't know who his family members would be after the war. He was single when he went to war.
I thought maybe the headstone, if one existed, would give me some clues.
I really appreciate your time. And sorry that I was confused about who you were referring to.

I'm not sure which Thomas Fox you are referring to. Could you give me more of his family details?
|Gregory Land||Claudius Land|
Thank you so much for your efforts in finding this information for me
|bvn||RE: Permission to use photos, please?|
