I decided to volunteer with Findagrave after finding information on relatives I would not of found otherwise and see where they are buried. Some critical pieces of information have been notated on Findagrave. For instance my mother told me her father died after a airplane crashed into the meat processing plant her father was working in and set it on fire. Without the critical year of his death from his gravestone on findagrave I would not of found out the whole story, a prototype of a B-52 had crashed into the plant near Seattle. Taking the photos is my way of giving back.

I also take pictures of memorials that have not been entered in findagrave and enter them, not just photo requests, especially those of veterans. I will happily release control of a memorial if you have a family link to a memorial I entered.
