All of the memorials in my care are ancestors and in-laws.

PLEASE, DO NOT POST DEATH CERTIFICATES OR DELAYED BIRTH CERTIFICATES ON ANY OF THE MEMORIALS THAT I AM ENTRUSTED WITH. IT IS MY FEELING THAT A MEMORIAL IS NOT THE PROPER PLACE FOR THESE DOCUMENTS. I WOULD GLADLY POST THE DOCUMENT NUMBER, AND WHERE IT MAY BE OBTAINED,INSTEAD.

YOUR COOPERATION IS APPRECIATED.

RE: Cementerio Civil and Cementerio Municipal de Ponce
Hello MSL:

Depending on when your ancestors died the same cemetery is referred to as both Civil and Municipal. I sent a bit of historical information to Find A Grave for so it should be now on each of these cemeteries landing pages inside the Find A Grave website. Both Católico and Civil are located in Barrio Canas. Since the opening of new municipal cemeteries in Ponce during the 20th century, the "original" municipal became referred as "Civil". Actually, the first municipal was the now Panteón Baldorioty de Castro, which dates back to 19th century, but closed in 1915. Hope this clarifies the confusion. Some of the memorials found in the "Municipal" should be inside the "Civil", such as the famous musician Ruth Fernández.

RE: James Avans marker
You're welcome. I am at present transcribing Brown Gap, when I finish, the Find A Grave total should double it's previous 454. When I did the request for you I noticed how large this cemetery was and knew it was nowhere near that total. I have added 5 or six more Avans. I just thought you might want to check it out. If you ever need to know who is buried next to someone, I can help you with it as I Keep a record of any cemetery I do. (Bobby)
