I have found it hard to find all memorials as Crum Elbow dates back far and has a lot of stones that can no longer be read or never had writing on. I learned that a fire destroyed earlier burial records there. I have completed almost all of Union Cemetery, but I have a few I am still looking for.I have completed as best I can a third,Pleasant Valley Cemetery but again as the earliest I found is dated 1790, a lot are no longer readable. There were a few here I couldn't find too.I finished working on St James cemetery in Hyde Park. I finished Pleasant Valley friends. I have more photos that I can not identify. If anyone knows anything about these cemeteries, I would appreciate it. I finished working on Pleasant Plains and Providence now too. If you are related please request a transfer and I will happily transfer to you. My goal is for all memorials I add to be with family. If you don't see it on the memorial, other members have added the additional information.Hope you like my photos. :) |
Thank you for everyone who helped me!

Well that makes us cousins! lol
Caterina's daughter Mary, was my grandmother.
Caterina Scaringi Bologna was my great grandmother.
I am looking for any information about her parents and siblings. Thank you so much for any help you can offer!
Vincenzo and his daughter Caterina arrived in New York on 18 May 1909. Vincenzo's wife name is given as Emmanuela Casino, however, I believe that it is just a misspelling. Note the name listed below Caterina who is from Bella and the name of the person he lists as who he left in Bella, Angela Casino. The only problem is that Caterina was born in 1894 (See Find A Grave Memorial# 177322775) placing her age in 1909 at about 15. The passenger list states her age at 23. Let me know if you know the burial location of Caterina and Donato Bologna. My Bologna ancestors were born in Muro Lucano. My Scaringi and Teti ancestors resided in Muro Lucano and Bella.
The birth record has been added. Vincenzo was born on 18 November 1855 in Bella, Italy. He was baptized on 19 November 1855. The document states that his father is Angelo and again the mother's name is difficult to read but appears to be the same as on the marriage record. Angelo is 27 years old, placing his birth year in about 1828. Vincenzo's mother is 30 years old. The document does not give the birth place of the parents, only that they were domiciled in Bella.
The notation of baptism is on the upper right portion of the document and a notation of marriage is in the lower right of the document.
...Vincenzo Scaringi memorial 156639882... I have added the married record of Vincenzo and Emmanuela Catina and translated some of the information. I will be adding additional information
...I am looking to find my great great grandparents from Bella. My great grandfather Vincenzo came to Ny...
Please let me know the names of your great great grandparents and dates of birth, even if it is a guess.
Let me know the names of your great grandparents, Scaringi or Teti; dates of birth and where born.
Let me know when Vincenzo, your great grandfather arrived in New York.
I will do my best to help you.
