Way back in my teens I began researching family history for the purpose of finding my father's parents. It has since ballooned into a mega-project. I presently have nearly 35,000 individuals in my FTM database. Someone stop me! I've learned many fascinating facts about my ancestors. It's been a helluva ride.

Peeper Edits
I have processed all the edits that you sent me for Esther & Arthur.

However, you asked me: Would you please connect Reinholdt "Rin" to his parents Frederick Paul Pieper and Augusta (Raimer) Pieper?

Since I'm not the manager of R E Peeper's memorial, I am unable to link his parents. You will need to send the manager, Contributor "Honoring," an edit to link his parents to him.

Unfortunately, I had to decline your edit asking me to link Esther to her father. He currently is listed as a "Burial Unknown" and I don't link to burial unknowns. To me, it goes against the whole premise of "Find A Grave."

Once you have located his burial location, I invite you to resend the edit.

Ballweg, Joseph C.
I am making some changes on his site. He is credited with a child, Judith, that he didn't have.
He did have a female child born in 1904 but it died unnamed.
Am trying to find burial spots of all his kids and enter them or get the owner to make edits.
He had 13 and there are more Ballwegs in Dane and Sauk counties than you can shake a stick at.
I think some people just copy what they see on Ancestry. I personally hate that site - so many errors and people take all they see for gospel truth.
My background is Ganser research and I have done extensive research in those counties. Most of the county is related to them.

Thanks for finding that the wrong parents were linked. I am trying to figure out why that happened as I checked my family history notes and I did have the correct parents assigned to him.
Sometimes the edits people send are not always correct. Perhaps that is how it happened. More than once someone else linked up incorrectly and I was unaware.

I did change the father - I did confirm with the Roxbury Cemetery inscriptions that he is indeed buried in St Norbert's. I did not find a listing for Theresa in either St. Norbert's nor St Aloysius. However I presume St Norbert's with the family.
His obit states he died at West Point, which is in Columbia county. He did have sons living there.
It is only a stone's throw from Roxbury.
It would be easy enough to find a marriage record for Johann and Barbara. The date would somewhat prove that Theresa was the mother of Joseph and not Barbara.

Are you from Dane county?

Sounds good.
I'll go ahead and decline the edits for now (since otherwise the FindAGrave system automatically approves any that are left unresolved after 21 days).

Suggested edits for George Noble
Hi, Jill.

I received your suggested edits for George Noble of Sand Ridge Cemetery, West Lafayette, IN. I'm curious of how certain you are about his parentage, specifically his mother being Nancy Driskill. According to data I'd received from a cousin of mine who'd done research on these Nobles, George's mother was a Truitt, first name unknown. But I really have no documentation for this other than my cousin's notes, and she has since passed away. Do you have evidence supporting his mother being Nancy Driskill?
