Cemetery preservation is very important to me and I try to list from actual cemetery visits and various book listings. I have been working with Wayne Austin for the last 10 years as a volunteer contributor for his project.
Please, e-mail me with any corrections or additional information that needs to be posted at any Maury County Cemetery where you see my name via the edit option on the memorial.

If I have posted a close relative of yours let me know and I will transfer. Please use the edit option on the memorial for updates, corrections and questions, my responce will be much faster, I don't have to look up the memorial by name that way.

Small minor issue from Connection.
Hello, I was posting some flowers on my 3rd Great Grandfather's page and suddendly my connection was acting up making me think my flowers wasn't being posted cause it wasn't showing process part. However it did and now I feel embarrassed to say this but I forgot how to take the two flower posts off as I only wanted to leave the top one.

If you can delete it for me I'd really appreciate it, or you can tell me how either way is fine. :) Thank you! His page P.A.G. is 13356747 name is Robert Hooker Thompson.

Memorial# 154474804 Tyre Noles
Tyre "Tiny" Noles is an "umpteenth" great uncle of mine.
He was married to (not necessarily in order)

I am not in my genealogy base as I type this so I can't give you any additional information other than he was born 13 March 1819 and died 14 Nov 1907.
Do you know anything about this Tyre Noles?
I looked through the cemetery and noted that there were no other Noles buried there, and that there were none of his wives family names listed either.

Foster Cemetery Location
On the page for Richard Singleton Foster the location of the Foster Cemetery is listed as being in Southport. The actual location is Stiversville. The map for the cemetery is correct as being Smiser=Hickman Road but that is very South of Maury County and Southport in near Mt. Pleasant.

Thank You, Mary Bob
Mary Bob,
You have been busy recording my Lipscomb, Walker, Nelson, Cherry ancestors and others I haven't searched for in the Rose Hill Cemetery and the Greenwood Cemetery and probably others as well. I am so glad when I do a search for one of my relatives and find you have been before me and recorded the needed information. Thank you so much. Gratefully, Gina

William B Gordon 1868-1952
I found his death cert, it lists John Chapman Gordon and Fannie Gillespie Gordan as his parents. Is it possible that the older William B Gordan is the brother of John chapman Gordan, and John named his son after his brother?

Elijah & Elizabeth were even disconnected?

Rose White Cheairs...There is another Rose White Cheairs (Memorial #177773791) that was entered in March 2017.

Found them while looking at the Cheairs genealogy. Can you get with the other person and combind or delete or whatever needs to be done to have only one memorial?

Thanks for all you do for Find a Grave! Can't imagine the work you've done to imput all those grave sites.

Memorials 13198900 & 166656585
I believe that these two Memorials are the same person. The first one is M. Leonora "Nora" Cheairs Thompson entered on 01 Feb 2006 and she is listed as the daughter of John Wesley Cheairs and Susan Tabitha Pointeer Cheairs. Believe this one is a good one.

The second memorial listed is for Mrs. Nora Cheairs Thompson and she is listed as a "sibling" with parents of Nathaniel Cheairs and Sarah Rush Cheairs. It was entered 08 Jul 2016.

My husband's 3x great grandmother was Mary Polly Cheairs and John Wesley Cheairs was her brother. I believe that M. Leonora "Nora" Cheairs Thompson is John Wesley Cheairs' daughter.

Can you check this out and see what you think? We made a trip to Spring Hill, Tn this past month to see Rippavilla Plantation (John Wesley's youngest brother's home place).

Sorry so long,
bobbie scott
