Bio and Links
Bio Photo I try to watch over and tend to the physical graves of our local Viet Nam losses. I have a virtual cemetery for Viet Nam. If you know of service members who died there, let me know and I will include them.

I gratefully receive transfers, but I am not a "collector" and rarely request them except for the closest of relatives. If you wish to transfer to me, you may, and I will care for them. If you choose to maintain memorials you have set up, that's fine, too.

I am now reconsidering transferring outside of guidelines as I have transferred a number of memorials that have not been maintained--updates are not done. I usually do corrections/additions within 24 hours, so if you have "tons" of additional information, please send it. Additions and corrections are celebrated! I truly appreciate those who use the new edit system to send them. Please use option #6, "Suggest any other. . ." for questions about a specific memorial so I can be sure of which one you are referencing. Thank you so much.

Are you the owner of findagrave?
Why are you sending messages to members about deleting memorials?
Why are you so determined to destroy this site and work of many hours of many families?

Harley and Nina (Fike) Black
Hi Suzanne, I saw the picture you posted of Harley and Nina (Fike) Black (#41614692 and #41614693). I recently bought a copy of the same picture on eBay. Nina is a descendant of Tilghman and Emily (Crone) Wiles, my great great grandparents. Any chance we are related? Kerry Kimberly

RE: George D Deshon
Thanks for the offer, but I am not related to Emeline. Due to George D's YOB, I would guess, if he served during wartime. it would have had to be the Indian Wars or possibly the SpAM War, his pension application does not say

George D Deshon
Actually, George D Deshon was not a CW Vet, he was a LtCol in the US Medical Corps and a former cadet at the US Military Academy. He died 6/24/1917, Brookline, MA. He was actually the son of George P Find A Grave #137200104

George P Deshon
1st Husband of Emeline (Jones) Eddy. I find no evidence that George P Deshon, s/o Daniel and Eunice was a CW Vet. He died in 1897 in Somerville, MA
George D. Deshon, was a CW Vet, but he was not the first husband of Emeline

Hi Suzanne,
I would like to try to add some data to the Memorials at Greenwood in Leavenworth. If I submit a copy of the obituaries that I find under the edits tab, would you be willing to add to your Memorials? I will source them and of course, no living people will be listed.
I would like to try to document the cemetery, and with the shape it is in, headstones are not available for many of the burials.
Best regards,
