RE: German Lutheran Cemetery
The headings in the books are in German. There are a few news articles, mostly about lost Deeds, also written in German and English.

I've never seen a photo of the cemetery, but you never know what the CCHS will uncover. I have only recently delved into the boxes of these defunct cemeteries. We do have two photos of Bellevue Cemetery.

The books are labeled 1880 (maybe 1881 I'm not in front of them) to 1968. There are also two lists of those burials that DID NOT go to Philadelphia Memorial Park. It is a bit hard to digest. Some will say something like "Mary Jones and Peter Jones removed to West Laurel Hill Cemetery. Any others in the plot to Philadelphia Memorial Park" So without knowing who is in the plot, it is hard to determine who was excluded. Others simply say "plot XYZ all moved to (pick a cemetery).

They even say, any remains found in the plot go to PMP, so they may not even know the names, I don't know yet.

I don't have access to , but I read that there is a file of the cards or something on line. Do you know if they are indexed?

I'm seriously thinking of creating an index of the burial books, which are in Chronological order.

I assume you live near PMP since you took that photo.

In your photo caption at the end you mention how to get a message to the Chester county Historical Society Library.

People would be better served if you replace that with .

I am a volunteer there and have seen the books. They go to 1968, btw.

I visited St. Mary's Cemetery in Bridgeton this morning, and I found a few more Lehmann graves. Have fun linking them!

Henry F Reimel
Hi, I request transfer of #125903261 Memorial, Henry F Reimel, to me. he is the husband of my great-grand aunt, Anna Sophia Rose (1867 - 1964).

I updated Henry's death date for you on the Memorial. I maintain a Rose and Reimel family tree, and I have Henry's death record.

My Find A Grave # is 476855551.

I think there was a glitch in the system and somehow you made 5 memorials for this same person, lol.

Just wanted to let you know.

Have a great day!

RE: Schall tombstone photo
I added a note to the one photo to let you know the headstone near the fence is the other one you requested for Arthur & Augusta Schall. I also took a photo of that marker.

William Levin
I am posting a photo of William Levin's stone. Based on the description indoor notes, I do not believe that this is the William Levin that you are looking for. Aside form the fact that the dates don't match, he is buried next to Sarah Levin, presumed to be his wife. Additionally, you William Levin's father's Hebrew name should be either "Leib", "Yehudi Leib", "Dov" or Dov Ber" based on your notes, this William Levin's father's Hebrew name is "Yaakov" - traditionally "Jacob" in English. Good luck in your hunt.

Christopher Bitzer

I visited Old Broad Street Presby. Cemetery this past week. I have not (yet) found Christopher Bitzer, but I did locate, photograph and add three young Bitzers. Not sure if they fit into your research. Let me know if you want to manage.

Cheers! Deb.
