|S. Segall||Re: Carmen and Germaine Pergola|
My friend (USC Girl) and I have searched the entirety of Valhalla Cemetery 4 times and have not found the Pergolas. Would you please call the office and verify they have a headstone and the exact location of their burial? Without this information they may never be found. This is a very poorly maintained cemetery. I had to have a headstone for another requester dug out from under 3" of grass a few days ago.
If they do not have a headstone, but you would like a picture of the area and gps coordinates I'm happy to do that for you.
|Craig Godfrey||Paul Dietrich|
Concerning your request for a grave photograph of Paul Dietrich at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Adamstown, PA, I talk to Cynthia Marquet of the Historical Society of Cocalico Valley (717-733-1616) a few minutes ago. It seems a boy scout has documented the names and grave photographs of every grave in the cemetery. Bottom line... There is no Paul Dietrich on the list. Trying to contact the Cedar Grove Cemetery Association has proven fruitless. They have no address or contact number. Maybe they are all ghosts!
|John Helfrich||Emily Homan|
I just posted a photo of the grave of Emily Homan, which you have listed. She is buried in Laureldale cemetery.
|Kirk Marlow||Eileen Foley Ward|
Eileen Foley Ward is actually located in St. Josephs Cemetery (Old) Section 4 on Ft. Covington St. Malone NY, not in St. Josephs Cemetery (New) on Childs Road Malone NY.
|Kirk Marlow||Rita Foley Early|
Rita Foley Early is located in Section 1 of the St. Josephs Cemetery (Old)(Ft. Covington St. Malone) not the St. Josephs Cemetery (New) Childs Road Malone NY
|Jan Darby||Mary Park|
Thanks so much! Maybe that will help with the confusion. Always nice to have that kind of documentation to add to someone's memorial page. I live in California, so it is often hard for me to get Canadian death/birth/marriage certificates, so this is greatly appreciated!
|Jan Darby||Mary Park|
Do you want to add a copy of the death cert for Mary Park so that it is there for future researchers (or I can also add it)?
|Stanley Weidenhammer||Howard Young|
You requested a picture of Howard Young's headstone at Laureldale Cemetery. I looked for it but couldn't find the headstone. So I went to the office and asked, they said there is no headstone.
I went out and took a picture where the headstone should be. Do you want me to enter the picture or not.

I noticed that a photographer noted the mausoleum is locked. Keys are available at the office for borrowing. I will try to get your photo. I typically go when they are closed because they do not welcome photographers and have run me off a few times for taking photos, citing privacy reasons.

Oh very nice. Sarah Raifsnider is my 2nd great grand aunt, her father was my 3rd Great Grandfather. I have a lot of research that I did not enter on this site. I just linked Charles first wife Sallie Titlow to him and requested their 3 children be linked as well.
I too have a double connect to this family via the Hartmans. I traced Edna back to my 6th great grandparents - John Valentine S Hartman and Katherine Driebler
