Once I found this site I decided to try to find relatives and list my own. I have met some very nice helpful people since I have been here.

It was so nice and surprising to come across this memorial that you made for your mother. I am also a distant relative. Your mother is my 2nd cousin, 3x removed. I am from the Hatch side of the family. Would love to connect and learn more! -Kimberly B Johnson/

Thank You Again!
Susan, I sure appreciate the high resolution photograph of the gravestone for Charlotte Breed out at Brown Cemetery that you posted. If you happen to have any, please post a photograph of the cemetery at large on the Cemetery page. An image could perhaps build more interest in doing something about the condition. And if you have a wider shot of the gravestone, I'd love to see - not sure where her husband, Avery Breed is buried - would seem like this would be the spot and interested to see how much "room" her grave has around it. From your description, it sounds as if some graves may be concealed, if not destroyed - JP

Brown Cemetery
My Grandfather and Grandmother, John Maxwell Robins and Florence Octavia Brown are buried in The Brown Cemetery. I have been there many times. There is a law that provides access to an offical cemetery must be allowed. The Brown cemetery was offically designated as a such back around 1950-1960 when my Father, William Emmett Robins and his cousin Ashton Robins had the place cleaned up and a chain link fence put around it. Unfortunately the last time I was there the place had badly deteriorated. But I don't believe the present property owners can legally prevent access to the cemetery.

May your thanksgiving be beautiful
Full of family, full of love
Let the memories continue to be the season
Of your life and let the legacy of your beloved
be forever enshrined in happiness and joy
Always in the golden time of day.

Join the crowd. It helps to be a little confused sometimes.Yes, it is at McBee. Right now, I do not have a link to him genealogically but you know how that goes. Many of those buried there are kin. This one ,I have in my database but no link yet. The Horton family is very large.I can send his family grop sheet to you if you want it.

When you are at the cemetery again, could you please get a photo that we can read better. That you so much for adding the pictures. It makes them more than a name & number. Judy

RE: Mary Susan Gardner Horton
I'm actually distantly related to many of the Hortons buried in McBee. Do you know who Thomas Horton's parents were?
