Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been tracing my family history for about 15 years. I am researching the Sims (Symes) families of England, Antigua, Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. I am also interested in my Goodnight (Gutknecht) ancestors of North Carolina and Germany. I would love to hear from anyone connected to my lines.

RE: Ruth Overcash Beaver
Hi Donna!

You are quite welcome for the photo of Ruth Lillian Overcash Beaver's stone. I have been looking for it for a while, and finally found it today! So I'm happy. :-)

You are more than welcome to use any photos that I have uploaded to F.A.G. The way I look at things is that I benefit from other people's work, so I pay it back in and share with others. Isn't it nice when we all share with each other and help each other achieve our goals?? I am also do a lot of genealogy work, and so I know how important photos of tombstones are.

Wishing you success in your endeavours!!

Moore
Grew up next to a lady named Grace Moore Her daughter was Edith Moore and she married a Hatfield and we live less than a mile from the Joe McCoy family. We all rode the same bus to school. I never could figure why that were so mad at each other.....didn't know the whole story LOL>

RE: Sims Family Photos
I am only related to the Sims by marriage. Samuel K. Sims and James Anderson Sims who were both sons of Nathaniel Sims, married sisters Annis DeWeese and Isabella DeWeese. Annis and Isabella were sisters of mygggrandmother Sarah DeWeese Irwin. Some years ago I had to do a LOT of research to find my DeWeese roots and learned a lot about other families they intermarried with.
