I read somewhere that a person dies three times.
First, when they render their last breath, second, when they are laid to rest, and third, when the last person to remember them, utters their name for the last time.

Find a grave is a great way to preserve the memory of those that have come and gone before us.

RE: Mary Ann Eadie Prusia # 38842838
The FAQs state this about unknown burials: "Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days." I am more than willing to link her to Lee (and her son to the father) when you find his grave location.

RE: Johnson Scudder Ryall Memorial 84422260
Hello Hans: Thanks for your message. JS RYALL did indeed serve in Capt Jackson's Troop (Forrest's Escort) prior to Mar 1864. On 15 Mar 1864, in Demopolis, AL, he transferred to the Orleans Light Horse (Polk's Escort) to join his brother Henry Clay Ryall. (M320, reel 032) (Forrest was in Polk's command in Mississippi during 1864). Henry had enlisted in the Orleans Light Horse at Tullahoma on 27 Jun 1863. While the Orleans Light Horse was a Louisiana Cavalry unit, practically it's entire active service was served with the Army of Mississippi & Tennessee. The unit was in the Kentucky campaign, and at Chickamauga and Atlanta. John was present with the Orleans Light horse during Apr & May, and then was listed as AWOL in June 1864. See additional detail on the Ryalls in my book "A FINE BODY OF MEN", the story of the Orleans Light Horse, which includes a bio sketch. If you use, I have included a full data file on the Ryalls there, which is open and available for your use. For further comment, contact me on Best regards, and Merry Christmas.

RE: 16674381
Hans, I hesitate to delete the page which I manage (#33939762). I didn't originate it. I believe it was set up because the person who owned the one set up in 2006 would not correspond with "granny v" who set up the 2009 page. You will notice that I have added a great deal of info about my (5th)great grandmother Ann since "granny v" transferred the page to me. I hesitate to remove all of that information. Several persons have contacted me with thanks for sharing the information. Have also been in touch with the people who formed a work party to clean the cemetery & stones belonging to our ancestors. Mr. Chandler posted the new headstone photo which is much cleaner than the one I took in 1992.
I think it would be better to contact the person who owns the 16674381 page & ask him/her to delete their page since it has so little info on it. I can only remove the photo which I posted to that page. If "Snl Roots" will not correspond with you, you must contact Findagrave & ask them to combine the two pages.
If you are able to contact "Snl Roots", he/she has my permission to copy the information I have posted so that it is not lost. I could then delete the page which I manage.
Regards, Sharon

RE: Charity Cemetery
Sorry to have misspelled the name Newsom. Although the names I left on Charity did not have memorials at the time on the original Charity I have deleted ALL of mine and hope that someone has created other memorials.

Henderson Overby
Hi, I have just posted a copy of his Bible record which I found several years ago at the Dallas Public Library. The Bible record has a lot of information about the Overby family including more children than you have listed. Henderson was my 4th great grandfather thru his daughter Caroline Royster Overby (by first wife Elizabeth).
Regards, Sharon
