Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a life long resident of Fort Worth, Texas. I have been researching my families genealogy since 1975.
MOST of my memorials are my ancestors, or extended family. If you have any questions, or would like something added please feel free to ask. I will be glad to transfer any but direct relatives.

I am researching FANNING GRISSOM LAWSON BRUSH and those associated on my Mothers side.
I am researching CLARK BUTLER HOLMSLEY KITTLE and those associated on my fathers side. All in Texas.

Please check out my TEXAS Confederate Soldiers. They represent every branch of my family.

A Poem I found on this site:
We are connected...my child and I...by an invisible cord...not seen by the eye...It's not like the cord that connects us 'till birth ...this cord can't be seen by any on earth....This cord does its work...right from the start...It binds us together....attached to my heart...I know that it's there...though no one can see...the invisible cord from my child to me......The strength of this cord is hard to describe...It can't be destroyed...it can't be denied.....It's stronger than any cord man could create....It withstands the test...can hold any weight.....And though you are gone...though you are not here with me....This cord is still there...but no one can see......It pulls at my heart...I am bruised...I am sore....But this cord is my lifeline...as never before......I am thankful that God connects us this way....A mother and child....death can't take it away!

It stands for LUker ROCk. It is a type of simulated turquoise. See the picture at Find A Grave Memorial# 16689431 for an example.

Hi Virginia, I'm connected thru his wife Juana Cleo Fanning, daughter of William Taylor Fanning & Fanny F "Nettie" Randolph. Fanny Randolph was daughter of Edward Marion Randolph & Eliza Jane Farley. Eliza Jane was daughter of Joel Farley & Caroline Broyles. Joel & Caroline were my great great grandparents (I think I got the number of greats right).

Milly Holeman # 157422146
Virginia, I just left another message for Bev regarding her erroneous entry for Milly, in the absolutely fictitious "Piney Cemetery". After I left my message, I saw your message with the same corrections. You are absolutely right. Milly's date of death and burial location are unknown, and there is no "Piney Cemetery".

RE: Barlow Smith Harvison
Thank you. I reached out to Bev who created the duplicate because we have corresponded in the past. She's quite reasonable and I'm sure that there might have been some legitimate confusion. Barring any response from her, I will reach out to find a grave as you suggested. Thank you.

RE: Aletha Purvis #29736628
Hi Virginia,

I found Aletha Purvis' death certificate by searching the last name on Familysearch.org. I never have any luck on Ancestry, to many transcription errors!

I found Ada's maiden name from her and Dr. W.E. Davis', (Lamar County) marriage record. I'm hoping to find Ada's father and Aletha's maiden name before moving on.

RE: Myra Dudley 77206624
The death certificate records her middle name as Armenthia.

Maybe you could make a note on the memorial page with the family name and the various spellings and sources.
