Charlene Teifer Stiffinella|
B. 1948 Michigan -
I am extremely interested in my Teifer, Menerey, Hanson, Fitzgerald, Lokker, Elenbaas, and Herczeg connections. I have many photos of graves under surnames of Teifer, Menerey, Lokker, Elenbaas, Hanson, and Fitzgeralds from Michigan in my family ancestry. Should anyone need grave photos of any of above-get in touch with me. If I have these names and graves in my cemeteries, I will donate a grave photo that I have.
I also want to thank everyone that has contributed my ancestry grave photos and has worked so hard to get them. I feel that they are important to who we are and we have to keep them "alive" in our hearts and memories.
I love the ancestry experience of finding those before me. Will take pictures of graves here in my area, as possible, for those who need them. Provided I "fulfill" it fast enough and have some notice, and weather permitting! Being a genealogy "graver" is new to me, I am a little slow. Am enjoying doing it for fam members that cant be here to see them theirselves. This is a humbling experience and we need to respect these many people.

Hi Char, I won't be able to look for about 2 weeks but will try later this month. Is he at the West Berlin Cem or another, or don't you know?

I also transferred William Menerey today that I noticed I still maintained. Your more than welcome. I walked the entire Elmwood cemetery yesterday and made sure I got every Menerey stone I came across. If I can be of further service please let me know.
|Eileen Schmuker||RE: Re: Mary Jane Veder Wells grave photo|
You're welcome. Mary Jane's headstone/grave is between Frank, 1873 - 1949, and Lena Wells Fitzgerald, 1884 - 1908. Others family buried there are Baby, Mar 15 -19, 1894, Carrie H, 1870 - 1925, and George B, 1870 - 1941. There is a military headstone for Seth but was difficult to read.

New tombstones have been added to the Vets cemetery, so I will be out there recording them before the snow hits. I'll say "hi" to your brother.

|The Lady in Black||Re: Cliford Henry Teifer|
As I was going through my last batch of photographs, I found that I had taken one of Clifford. I added the record, and transferred him to you. I'll keep looking for the rest of them, and let you know what I find out. I don't know how many more good weather days we'll have here before winter hits, so I may be done for the year, depending on how things go. I still have about 200 more records/photos to add!
Glad to help out!
|The Lady in Black||Re: Mary Manore Teifer|
I added a photo for Mary (only thing is that her birth date doesn't match). And, I've been unable to find the graves of her parents, Sophie & Louis. I've walked that part of section C twice now, and found her grave purely by accident (I was waiting to photograph in another section while a funeral was going on, and walked through section C again, finding Mary's grave by luck). I haven't seen any Manore graves yet (there are also some unmarked graves near her--do you know if they have markers or headstones?). I'm thinking that, since the records are so messed up and/or missing, they are somewhere in that section--I just haven't found them yet! The next time I go there, I'll give it another try, since I know where Mary's grave is now. I need to contact the office, but all I've been getting is voice mail the last few tries, with no response. I'll let you know what I find out.
I said hello to your brother for you today and put a little flower on his grave.

Sorry I transfered before I saw your request to link parents. I guess it is your job now.
I will say hello to your brother as I am there two days a week. The cemetery is so peaceful and there is so much history there.

|Joe Nihen||RE: Re Wm Schwab Fairview Cem Bethlehem|
Wow! Did you ever do your homework regarding this grave!
I appreciate the photos, the information, and your time and effort in going the extra "miles" in the search. It appears that you too enjoyed the adventure, and that's part of the mystique of being a findagraver.
Please do post the photo of the monument dedicated to the unknown. Also, if you will, write up your findings in the comment section. If you happen to find a marker for William, the comments and photo could be changed. It is surprising (maybe not!) to know how many people find findagrave information of help to their research.
The 81st Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, rises to salute you!
