Vladas Zajanckauskas is not buried in Arnold Cemetery. That burial ground hasn't been used since the early 1800s and is not even kept up. it is in the woods, covered in brush.
I live across the street.

Yep, I see them. Thanks for posting. Can you verify my speculation that I found the names of his parents? I have no relationship to any of the families in this county so I can only go by the records that I discover during my research.

I photographed Oran Henderson's gravestone at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, but cannot add it to his Find A Grave memorial as you have loaded the maximum number of photographs. Please delete one of your photographs so that I may add his gravestone photograph. Thanks very much. Rhonda

That's a really nice photo. Small world, I went to Romig also, but way before you...the first year it was open.

Joe, Disregard my last message. I found all the information on Sgt Garcia. The information was found in a book written by Maj. Norton. Take a peek at the TWS site and see what I found. Thanks again.
I would however if possible contact family to let them know what I have found. Can you help me on that?
|dennis king||RE: Joe,|
Thank you very much.
I am looking for more info on Sgt Arthur Martinez Garcia Jr. Of mammoth Arizona. He was KIA in Viet Nam in 1970 Feb. 7. I have taken on the task to update his last action on the site TWS. I think I may have more information but need to know his exact out fit he served with. I think he may have been in a conflict with a Marine who was awarded the Navy Cross. His name is Sgt Charles Sexton. I called him and left a message and may or may not hear back from him. Their 50th reunion described everything listed in Sgt Garcia's Obit however I have conflicting dates. Sgt Sexton has his biography listed as Feb 5,1970,while Sgt Garcia s dates say Feb 7,1970.
Sgt Sexton carried 3 KIA's and 2 wounded out to a different area until a medovac was called. One of the KIA"s was also shot in the head as stated in Sgt Garcia's Obit. If you can help please let me know.
PFC Dennis C. King Retired USMC

You have been on my Find A Grave friends list ever since you posted that photo. I started posting a few memorials for Alaskan politicians after unexpectedly discovering Emmet Egan's headstone three years ago. An Egan from Alaska caught my attention.
