|Gillian Quinn||Donald Arthur Holden|
My name is Gillian (McDonald) Quinn, daughter of Diane (Holden) McDonald, who's brother was Donald Arthur Holden. Dorothy Campbell Holden was my grandmother, and Arthur Ellsworth Holden, who I never knew, my grandfather.
A few years ago I learned of the tragic details of the death of my Uncle Donald on Mt. Slesse, as a passenger on Flight #810, in December 1956. My cousins (located in British Columbia) and I are planning a memorial hike up Mt. Slesse to honor my Uncle. I saw that you recently left flowers for my Uncle Donald and I wanted to thank you firstly, and secondly, reach out to learn more about your relationship with my Uncle Donald. As his life was cut short at age 24yrs, I never knew him, and would very much enjoy connecting with you to learn more about him, based on your possible relationship with him. You can reach me by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
I very much look forward to connecting further with you and learning more about my Uncle Donald!
Thank you again for sending flowers to my Uncle! I truly appreciate it!

Thank you so very much for your response about William Woodruff and my great aunt Nellie Sophia Irwin Woodruff. I appreciate learning the information from you about the Cass County Cemetery and the fact that there are no headstones. It is exceedingly kind of you to offer to research Riverside Cemetery for my great aunt and I am deeply grateful. I have not lived in Fargo for some time, living now in New Jersey, and cannot thank you enough for helping me with this question in my family tree. Again, thank you for your effort, time, and generosity of spirit.
With all best regards,

Dear Mr. Olsen: I have found your Find A Grave listing for the husband of my great aunt, William Hawkins Woodruff (Memorial #167270782; Added: July 21, 2016), whose grave is located in Cass County Cemetery #1 in Trollwood Park, Fargo, ND. Your listing included his specific DOB (February 17, 1860) and DOD (April 26, 1916). Are you able to let me know if there is an actual grave marker for him there listing his name and dates and, if so, do you happen to have a photo you might be willing to share? Also, I have been unable to locate a burial place for his first wife, my great aunt Nellie Sophia Irwin Woodruff (b. abt. 1860 in either Indiana or Buffalo, NY and d. August 6, 1896 in Fargo, ND, which is an unsourced date from another Ancestry.com member family tree). My question is whether she may have been buried in the same cemetery near him? I have not been able to find any sources that provide information on her death and burial. Whatever information you might be able to share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your listing for William Woodruff. With all best regards, Holly McDonald

I didn't know either. I went to visit David Jackson and James Merrill's burials, and I saw the tomb behind them. After I took the picture, I searched and learned she was the former wife of David's, good friend with James, and she was buried beside Lynn. Her tombstone read "Always a friend" I'm not sure to which of above relationship (David, James or Lynn) is referring to.

I am afraid that my photo skills are not particularly good. It's a little hard to photo as it lies flat on the ground. Feel free to delete. Hope it helps.
