ABOUT THE CHRISTENSEN FAMILY ARCHIVES:
This is an unofficial archive of family papers, letters, a few books, and many photos (often these photos have no name associated with them). Quite often, the letters require some interpretation supported by other information, in order to correctly understand the information presented. Because of this, I am reluctant to share very much of the texts verbatim. Similarly, some of the photos have been mislabeled, so unless you know whose handwriting is on the photos, you may not be able to understand which label is correct and which label is not. With some of the oldest Finch and Wait family information, there is some question as to if we are looking at the original document, or a handwritten transcription (and I do suspect the latter of these options). So with the possibility of some of these documents being transcriptions, their source comes into question making it impossible to verify the quality of the information contained within the document without some other way to verify this information.

Hi! The FGM web page for Hugh indicates his birth year as Oct 1876 but the gravestone photo seems to show 1870. Can you clarify?
Thank you for all the great and thorough work!

Here is some information that you might want use to clarify the history of the cemetery:
|Natalie Woodall||Isabel Shelp Andre|
Dear CC-Genealogy: When you created the memorial for Abraham T. Andre, did you by any chance see a stone for his wife, Isabel? She died (according to probate papers) May 7, 1893? Abraham, who died in the insane hospital in Binghamton, is buried in Factoryville Cemetery, Waverly, Tioga, NY. I am hoping she is there too. Many thanks for whatever you can tell me. Best wishes, Natalie J. Woodall, PhD

Thanks! I am glad you like the photo :) We stopped by the cemetery on the way to getting ice cream Friday night. I had my friend hold a flashlight on some of the older stones so it would get better lighting on them.

Donna Streeby and her husband are both in Eldon Cemetery. I have sent an edit request to connect Donna to her parents and to add Donna's maiden name to her profile. I also having pending edits for Jean to be connected to her parents. I can not find any details on Marjorie although it seems as if she pre-deceased at least a few of her siblings based on their obituaries. Once the others are connected, you will see they have obituaries.

CC, Sorry, I didn't get back to you sooner. It was a long day yesterday, I worked election day.
The information for Frank came from New York, County Marriages 1847-1848; 1908-1936.
Frank D. Fryer and Anna R. Korbel were married on 7 December 1909 in Oneida, New York.
Elijah S. Fryer and Florence Fenderson are listed as his parents'. E. Saull is a transcription error, birth place Virginia??

Yes, it's odd how I found 2 flat, previously un-photographed stones that day from 1802 and did not see a standing stone from 1803 that I took photos of just a couple of years ago.

|James W Cummings||RE: re: John Fenderson|
Yea, Ezekiel Croxford is Keziah`s younger brother by two years. Elijah Clements is very likely to be Prentiss` father as He and Elizabeth (Hill) Clements` youngest daughter Lucy was John Fenderson jr`s wife , another of John`s sons Ivory Elijah who moved to Iowa was married to Lydia , another of Elijah Clements` daughters.
|James W Cummings||RE: re: Prentiss Clements|
John Fenderson d 1848 in Old Town, Maine according to my records but I`ve never seen the grave. his wife Keziah " Dolly" (Croxford) Fenderson died at Oswego, Tioga, New York on June 19, 1854. She was born 1785 to John and Wilmot (Foster) Croxford.

I thouhgt Prentiss Clements` stone was right beside his wife Wilmot`s but I could be wrong.
