|I began using findagrave primarily to find and memorialize my family members, many of whom I do not even know the place of burial. I also enjoy fulfilling photo requests. Since many other genealogists have similar goals and issues locating family, I have expanded my efforts and have begun adding all the memorials (with grave photos) for the Jewish cemeteries in my local area.|
Due to copyright rules, I do not post obituaries. However, if you have one for a memorial I have posted, e-mail it to me and I would be glad to keep it on file to help with researching family members. I do basic genealogical searches to add maiden names, missing birth or death dates, and link parents with children, where possible. In this way, I hope to provide the basics for anyone searching for family.
I will gladly transfer management of any of my memorials to family members (please provide your relationship).
Please use the edit function, if you are providing additional information or corrections for a memorial.
Use of my grave photos is for non-profit purposes only, with proper photo credits to me.

Jeff, Thanks so much for the beautiful tombstone photo on the above memorial. Also, thanks for the location. I appreciate your time in visiting & photographing his gravesite. Richard

I did not know that. I thought only the memorial owner could do that. Thanks for the info!

I have no idea. I know there were relatives in New York City, because my grandmother ended up staying with them when she moved to NY. There may have been relatives in Holyoke, too, but I've never heard about any. And his original family name was Goldstein and changed it to Epstein when he came to the US. I have never known why. One child that was left in an orphanage in England and later came to the US never changed it to Epstein. Thank you!

Hello! Marks Epstein (id# 77351726)
is my great-grandfather. Are you related to him? Would you consider transferring the memorial to me? I am the administrator to other family members that I would like to link to him. Thanks!
I processed the edits for Harry and Ethel Goldstein's memorials. Are they ancestors of yours? Would you like for me to send you ownership of the memorials? Just let me know - I'd be happy to transfer them to you.
Good luck in your work.

Happy to do it, Jeff.
Can you please call the cemetery and ask for the exact location? Some of the gardens are quite large so if you can repost with the lot and grave numbers in the Garden of Esther that would be most helpful.
Thanks and Happy Holidays

I photographed her headstone this morning. Next to her was her husband. Do you want to create a memorial and I will upload the photo.
