The marker reads
J. & E. Adams
Apr 23, 1867
20 Y, 1 M, ....D (cannot read days)
He was born on 18 Mar 1847 in Parke, Indiana
His parents were John E. Adams and Elizabeth Sarah Bullington who are buried in New Discovery cemetery also. I don't know if his middle initial stood for Walker or not. THIS IS NOT your GGgrandfather. He is buried on his farm in New Discovery. I don't know where this is and if the stone still exists. Sorry. I am sending a note to the person who created this memorial to correct it.

You're welcome! The Bryans weren't listed in the cemetery books so I walked the cemetery and found them!! I was as happy to find them as if they were my ancestors!

Regarding the group photo you posted of J.A. Symonds:
The lady in the photo is mis-labeled as Catherine North. In fact, she is Charlotte Byron Symonds Green (J.A. Symonds sister, not his wife).
All the best,

Hi, I believe she was Hannah Wheeler, 1/1/1687 in New London, died 6/20/1719 in New Milford. Thanks, Judi Schoonover

THANK YOU FOR CHASING DOWN THE GENZERS IN OREGON. THEY CAME FROM MORAVIA TO TEXAS AND THEN TO OREGON. AMAZING HOW PEOPLE TRAVELED BY SHIP AND WAGONS. MY GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER GENZER TRAVELED FROM MORAVIA TO TEXAS AND DIED IN OKLAHOMA CITY. TRAVELED BY WAGON TO GET THERE. THEY WERE TOUGHER THAN I AM. ANGELINA GENZER KRETZSCHMAR.....STAYED IN TEXAS.

Thanks so much for bringing my error (re. posting a marriage document to a child's listing) to my attention. I deleted the record from the child's listing and posted it to the parents. Thanks again. Ann Koch
