|My name is Therese Murphy. I am a descendant of several families in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area. Namely the Read, Simon, Gettz, and Mink families. I have encompassed the family history of these families on my family tree, and have made memorials, with photos of gravesites and details of the lives of the individual on my website, as well as the family tree at Ancestry. Please leave me a message here with your e-mail or find-a-grave contact if you are interested in these families, and we can share information.|

Hi, I am related to you and am interested in finding out more about your Laffertys, Simons and possibly if there is a link to Louderbacks. Please either email to email@example.com or you can call to 610-544-4785, Springfield, PA (Delco) if you are are close and if you desire. Hope to hear from you soon.
No biggie, just a misunderstanding. I know what you mean, I am always quick to jump the gun, but I am trying to help keep the site free from duplicates (memorials, cemeteries and such), since I had photographed the cemetery, I went through that one first and there were 2 different cemetery listings that had to be merged because someone thought it was not in Philadelphia.
I have a couple of James McKnights in my family, my great-great grandfather born in 1860 and my great grand-uncle born in 1887. Those are the only two I know of so far. I do have a couple of Simons in my family tree, though no direct relation to them yet. I am still working on my family that is buried in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery and finding out who their parents were. Directly, I am related to the Vile and Kinsley families there, with indirect links to Wilent, Brearley, Bastian and Terrell families (based on my research so far).
On my mom's side, I have a William C Simon (abt 1887 - ?) that married a Margaret Finley (1890 - ?). And on my dad's side, I have two Simons that married the same Preston J Vile: Katie (1880 - 1919) and Margaret Simon (1879 - ?). As you may notice if you research the families in that particular church, they often married into each other's families, so who knows what connections I may find later.
I would much rather transfer my memorials to someone who has researched the person and can add to the memorial. That is the point of only transferring to relatives: they often have a lot to add to my basic memorials. I am trying to get most of the cemeteries photographed and find where my family members are buried, so I don't have time to research and add to the memorials unless I am related, though I will paste anything to the memorial sent to me and give credit to the person sending.
I thought of an easier way to tell me which ones you want transferred: create a virtual cemetery for them and tell me what you named it. Then I can just click on each person and transfer to you. If you want to do that, let me know.
I'm working on Old Cathedral now, and hope to finish that in a few weeks, my great great grandparents are there, but the groundskeeper told my brother that they bury the stones when they become too worn or damaged, so now their plot is unmarked. There are a lot of empty spaces like this. It's a shame someone didn't photograph them all 50 years ago. If you know of any relatives buried there, add them to the site. I search to make sure they aren't listed first, if they are I just add the photo to the memorial.
