Bio and Links
Bio Photo If I have prepared a memorial for your immediate family member and you would like it transferred to you, please use the Suggest a Correction link located by clicking the Edit tab in the upper right hand corner of each memorial. In your message, please state your relationship to the deceased. I will consider distant family members, friends and totally unrelated people if you have something to contribute which I have not done already.

Also, if you find any errors I have made, please use the Suggest a Correction link. I appreciate people helping me fix my errors. Also please send any additional information you have (including Family Links) and I will add it to the memorial. Find A Grave gives 30 days to make changes, but I try to get it done quicker than that. If you don't hear back from me within 3 weeks, please feel free to ask again.

Thanks to all who flower any of the memorials which I created, but especially my parents.

I love Find A Grave and I especially enjoy adding photos to memorials so that family members can visit their family member's graves at anytime. However, I ask that you respect my efforts. Please, do NOT copy my photos to ancestry.com without giving me credit. Simply indicate 2006-2014 J.Sullivan on Find A Grave. I'd appreciate a note letting me know you have copied them. However, do NOT post them to other Find A Grave memorials. Just let me know and I will upload them. If you want to use them for commercial purposes or to create your own web site, that is not allowed under any circumstances. However, it is okay with me for you to post my photos of your friends and families headstones on Facebook as long as you link it back to the Find A Grave memorial. Please note that other members may have different opinions on this and you should honor their wishes. It is illegal to copy a photo without the photographer's consent.

Important admin notices posted in the forums:

Per Mark, the admin:

1. Location of body unknown should be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. You should however make every effort to locate the final disposition and update it as soon as possible.

2. See part 1. Not everyone in my direct family has been located and thus none of them are linked. I make notes in bios of those who have known locations. Such as "Son of X and Y" or "Also father of X". What I do is look for new listings and ask for updates when a generous member has finally found a missing relative.

3. No duplicates are allowed. Period.

This is Find A Grave and long-term unknown dispositions solely for the purpose of creating family links is outside the main intent of the website.

Per AJ, the admin:

Photograph the grave/gravesite "in-situ", or as it appears in that moment in time. The purpose is to show the grave as it is, be it dirty, cluttered, broken, or pristine. It is not your job to clean it, clear it, fix it, or decorate it. The graves are not yours to do as you please. Remember, one person's "good deed" just might be another person's vandalism. Go take lots of photos...but do it like an anthropologist and do not disturb the grave site.

Note for self, this is a link I might need to know how to make one day:

RE: Mount Jackson Cemetery - Indianapolis
Thanks, Julie. I don't want you to go to any extra effort. Just wanted to check and see if you may have stumbled across them when you were doing your on-site work.

Mount Jackson Cemetery - Indianapolis
We have corresponded before about Mount Jackson Cemetery and the work you have done on the physical layout of graves in the cemetery. I have been working the past six weeks trying to find the answer to questions on the cemetery spreadsheet and/or adding missing information.

What I wondered now is if in your work, whether you may have some type of photograph evidence of where my husband's Great-Grandmother and Great-Grandfather are located at Mount Jackson. Their info follows:

Henry Federspill
ID #136357057
Section 9, Row 1, Grave 53

Katie Brooks Federspill
ID# 159607272
Section 8, Lot 2, north end of the west
Note: She was listed as Kate Federskill on the cemetery's spreadsheet.

My husband and I have been to the cemetery, and we found what we believe are the sections they are in, but the layout is kind of a mystery to us at this point and I don't think they have headstones.

Thank you!

Mary L Jones. This is the 2nd wife of Thomas Newton Jones. They married on January 6, 1852. Three years after the passing of his first wife. Her name was Mary Rose Lewis. I will submit the corrections accordingly.

HI !

THERE ARE NOT BIRTH RECORDS YET FOR THAT YEAR.

BUT ACCORDING TO THE 1921 CENSUS HIS PARENTS (FARMERS) & 4 SISTERS WERE LIVING IN SARNIA TOWNSHIP, LAMBTON WEST.

ACCORDING TO THE SARNIA HISTORICAL SOCIETY THIS ADDRESS WAS R.R. # 1, 6 th CONCESSION, SARNIA TOWNSHIP.

HE NEVER MARRIED, GREW UP IN SARNIA TOWNSHIP,
WORKED FOR ELECTRIC AUTO-LITE AS A PRESS OPERATOR BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH THE LANARK-RENFREW UNIT.

HOPE THAT HELPS !

Oops I read it wrong. I thought you needed something from Fairmount, Indiana not another state.

Flossie Lee
Sorry I haven't checked my messages for 2 months! Am I understanding you that you needed the existing memorial stone picture for Flossie Lee? I just added it. Let me know if this is NOT what you were needing. Also are you needing something from Fairmount Indiana? Let me know. I'm probably 10 miles away. If you have any directions of the grave let me know.
