Bio and Links
Bio Photo I usually add data from the person's obituary, if available, as that is the information the person's family selected to be publicly displayed as the person's memorial and image. Next the federal and state census records may provide the only remaining conveniently accessible source data on non famous persons and thus I try to add when possible, after all, not all persons were, as Rudyard Kipling put it, 'Captains and Kings'. Plus in the future if a descendant wishes to research further, the pure factual data currently available is here for them to use as a starting point. All my photos may be used as wanted as I took them to share; source credit would be appreciated. Please feel free to add your photos if you have a picture of the person or if you have a picture of the monument taken at a different time of day that shows it more clearly. Please advise any additions or corrections with the 'edit tab'. Your research is welcome ! I will transfer any memorials of your relatives if requested except my family tree.

Incidentally, I'm a trustee of Black Point Cemetery in Scarborough, Maine.

Please send me an e-mail if you or anyone you know is doing research on the Pooles or is an descendant, like me. I would like to know if Abijah Poole is related to James Poole, wife of Eunice who is buried in this cemetery. I am trying to verify that their child William, born in 1804 is my 3rd great grandfather who married Mary Catherine Cotten in S.C. in 1824. William Laurens Poole was born in Portland, Maine in 1804. He and Mary lived in Charleston, S.C. and moved to New Orleans, LA where they died. They had 6-7 children. Liz Taylor

RE: Edward How
Gave Edward a picture of the general area where he is suppose to be. I will keep his information and eventually go into the office with those I can't find to determine if the markers have been destroyed.

I am curious about your connections to the Wentworths. I am descended from Ida Wentworth Walker and delighted you have so many Wentworths. I live in Maine, so know Black point well!

Edward How
I have walked over Graceland a few times and cannot locate Edward. In the section you provided, there are empty spaces and I have seen some destroyed/illegible markers. I am sorry I wasn't able to help. If you want me to take a photo of the grassy area in section H, block 23 let me know.

How Family in Graceland Miami
Hello, I am still looking for Edward How. But, I did locate some other How names in the main Mausoleum in Graceland Memorial, Miami. Eva Burgy How and George How. Since the name is unusual for down here, it might be family. I have added these pictures to the cemetery gravesites.
