Bio and Links
Bio Photo I want all of my fellow Find A Gravers that I give my permission to copy any gravestones or family pictures from my Memorial's. I don't put Memorials, information and photo's in for the glory or recognition but to honor those who have gone before and for the families of these people.

This is to let everyone know I have never stolen any pictures from anyone and will not. There is a find a graver on here that has consistently tried to get me in trouble with FAG and is always adding negative messages. I don't know why she is doing this but other FAGers have had the same problems with her trying to police other's Memorials. I have requested that this Person not add anything to my Memorials.

Miller County, MO. Musicks
Did you see the episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" with Jessica Biel.
The episode shows Miller County, MO Historical Society's museum and genealogy room. I wrote another article on the museum here:
There is a nice genealogy library and also a website with lots of information.

Sechrest Family Cemetery
Hi Marsha,
I found the information we needed. I added the phantom Sechrest to the cemetery and transferred him to you. While visiting again, a man came over from his home west of the cemetery to ask what I was doing. After explaining, he told me of 4 stones he had at his home he was repairing. I posted those photos on Find A Grave as well. All the repair at the cemetery is his. 17 years ago, he canvased the cemetery, dug out, repaired and up-righted EVERY stone. One stone he has is in such devastating shape, it is beyond recognition. THAT stone is probably the one we need a photo of. Hope this help.

Williams Family
Oh Marsha!
Have you identified your Williams family?
I was browsing your Williams' and saw the name Musick & my heart stopped. I've been working in NC and in Edgefield (SC) and am convinced that is where I will determine my gggg grand parents. Many of my identifying families are there, in the 1790 census: Neal Osburn, Tutt, Spence, Harrison. Their springboard was Granville county NC and before that, Spotsylvania county VA. Many people attach them to the Hendersons of Augusta/Louise; but that doesn't work. It is Jael & William Williams. (She later married a Harrison.)

I'm very pleased for you. Altho my ancestor was in SC during the R. War, I cannot relate him to Col/Gen James Williams. I often see the Musicks. I asked Brent to send his DNA to the Williams Project. They don't have enough participation to be helpful, as yet.

RE: Drapers
Marsha, you don't say how you are related to Frank Draper, if at all. I don't know what you are looking for regarding this Frank Draper. Frank is shown in the home of George and Mary Chamness in the 1900 and 1910 census records. George W. Chamness married Mrs. Mary F. Draper (a widow) in 1894. If this is correct, then his father would be William Franklin Draper, and his mother is Mary Francis Carter. His parents married in 1891 in Union County IL. Portrait photos for William and Mary are online at in public family trees. William Franklin Draper (1855-1892) is listed as buried in Hurricane Cemetery in Carterville, IL. Find A Grave Memorial# 24604234. Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Draper shows his birth location as Carterville IL on his WW1 draft record. I do not have any special knowledge of the Draper family. My lineage is Chamness/Cooksey/Boles from southern Williamson County, not far from Creal Springs. I just found the Draper info in 45 minutes of searching on Best Regards, Greg.

Arminta Louder
Hello Marsha...
Arminta is my gg grandmother. I have researched her family a long time(30 years) and put a lot of work into it. I appreciate that you want to take over her site but I think I will hang onto it for awhile but if I decide to hand it over to another I will certainly keep you in mind. Thank you for your interest.Sandra

RE: William Jewell Williams
Hi Marsha,
Thanks for the kind words.
In answer to your question, I am not related to the Williams family. I ran across William J. Williams photo somewhere and, knowing how precious family photos can be, I posted it.
